lol I forgot that episode where he wandered up onto the top of the White House

There are so many episodes.  The show has definitely jumped the shark.

Is mark kelly a person that can win potus in 2028?  He’s white and male so that’s a decent start for so many voters. Veteran, senator from a swing state (zonahorn I’m sure would have something to say about that characterization), not ancient, demonstrable family man.

He’s not a very charismatic public speaker.

He is Arizona royalty. He’s an outstanding representative and has better positions than senators from even bluer states. He has aspirations to run for president, I’d hate to see him go, but it stings less with his junior senator and partner Senator Gallego.

It is going to be laughably:

1) incomplete

2) the parts that are understandable will be totally unworkable and likely even counterproductive

3) labeled with the "Trump" brand at every turn

4) and likely designed to funnel dollars to the Trump family grift in some way

For item 4, we could see a similar playbook. Something like 5 major insurers are onboard with the new Trumpcare: UHC, Aetna, Cigna, BCBS and a new insurer that formed out of Dubai last week.

How about you work on getting planes flying on time and not crashing because our ATCs are overworked. Sure, people dress too casually now but when you're shoved into a tin can with less than 3 feet between you and the seat in front of you all the while hoping your flight will actually take off on time, I don't really care if people want to be as comfortable as possible now given the tremendous beating it is to fly.

Someone should ask him how classy he feels to marry Puck’s sloppy seconds.

Duffy have anything to add about carriers treating their customers like people and not like cargo?  They might encourage some behavior changes.

Last of the gunfighters?  Nah, guess that's an A-6. Well, hell, first thought may be correct.  Anyone?

I look forward to smoking sections returning.

This is one of my favorite parts so far.  If California gets more seats and Texas doesn't, I will be quite amused.

It would be very funny, but there's absolutely no way SCOTUS allows that to happen.

Hedgehog getting spicey and trying to demote him while Trump is posting AI videos of the six behind bars.

"Five of the six individuals in that video do not fall under @DeptofWar jurisdiction," Hegseth wrote on social media. "However, Mark Kelly (retired Navy Commander) is still subject to UCMJ—and he knows that."

“The video made by the ‘Seditious Six’ was despicable, reckless, and false," Hegseth wrote. “Encouraging our warriors to ignore the orders of their Commanders undermines every aspect of ’good order and discipline.'"

It’s so weird how they all somehow keep forgetting to use the word “illegal”, which was the ENTIRE FUCKING POINT.

Let us remember, our oath is to the constitution, not a president. That needs to be forefront. Like a fucking recon team.

Gimme McRaven if we’re going macho military guy, Kelly has the charisma of a soggy sandwich. Great candidate on paper

Ahh the nicknames. A classic move to justify whatever horrible things they plan on doing.

Get out of town, did this really happen?

Can't speak for Trump photo, but Mamdani is shopped. He was wearing black turtleneck in original photo

Mark Kelly is unfortunately a pretty boring candidate by himself.  But if empowered as the face of anti-MAGA, he is basically a fucking dream candidate for Dems.

By design.  Those six said something that really caught the attention of service members and the administration is pretending like that word was not used.

I don't even think he'll get called back. Hedgehog is trying to insult/threaten with the "Commander" remark, but I doubt a military judge is going to have a problem with anything said by Kelly.

This is all bluster, just lashing out.   Won't matter in a few weeks when we attack Venezuela anyways.

they are trying retcon that part of it out of the pocketverse after they realized the moebius loop it creates

Yep. The fact that they are getting caught up in this petty little bullshit is good for us though, and good for the Venezuelans, as it's distracting Donnie from doing far worse things.

When you watch the video, it's clear the six knew exactly where the line was and didn't cross it. They were very careful not to say disobey lawful orders.

If you go read the comments from the cult, they never mention a single thing about the context of what was said. It's sedition because the big guy said so.

fine

reactivate and court martial

have fun explaining to the proles every night on fox when the testimony includes the word ILLEGAL every 3rd sentence out of anyone's mouth and it's impossible for the hate engine to sanewash the trial

fuck you, fuck your kids, fuck your church, fuck your parents, and fuck everyone who fucks with you. you bring cruelty and terror to your brothers and sisters in christ and then you turn around and play the victim and claim to be the one who is being persecuted. fuck. you.

Also, fuck them as a staff, record label AND as a motherfuckin’ crew!

If they somehow were able to court martial Kelly my understanding is that he gets a jury of his peers (same rank or higher). It would be fucking amazing to have the case tried against him and all his peers say fuck this.

I guess I assumed that they were fabricating something he did or said. Is the claim going to be that he's being court-martialed because he said illegal orders shouldn't be followed?

What's next, they find someone to court-martial because they say that we shouldn't speed in school zones?

Oh it’s all about him saying not to follow illegal orders, but they’ll couch it in terms of him trying to interfere or whatever they want to call it.

And the White House is doubling down.
