If you all wanna know why we aren't getting out of this nosedive anytime soon just look at all the DT folks who go insane at the hint of CR mentions anywhere but this forum.  When pretty much everything is affected by politics right now.  And I'm pretty sure not a single member here has admitted to voting for Dotard.  No sir, they just happen to hate hearing about politics.  Until people have this shit shoved in their face, we have zero chance.  Maybe it's not so civil, but anyone worried about civility these days has their head so far up their ass they need an actual beating to dislodge.

Remember the few hours before the details behind the MN shooter were known? Lots of “no CR!!!” folks were perfectly willing to talk politics when they thought it benefitted them. Oops!

There were posters who posted just fine during the MN shooter political bullshit being peddled in the first few pages but were immediately "take it to CR" in the ID arsonist thread

I am a staunch defender of the church exemption, for churches that stay out of politics.

I'm not kidding; amid deporting children and doing nothing to help Texas, Kristi Noem asked her Instagram followers to help choose her Official South Dakota Governor's Portrait. The options all look like covers of romance novels with a heroine named Moron Marlboro

What?!?!

Brooke Rollins on farm laborers: "There will be no amnesty. The mass deportations continue, but in a strategic way. And we move the workforce toward automation and 100% American participation, which with 34 million able-bodied on Medicaid we should be able to do fairly quickly."

Isn't Rollins the one who got Trump's ear and got him to second-guess the deportation of immigrants working in restaurants, hotels and on farms? He quickly said they were exempt and then Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem hit the roof?

We’re going to relocate everyone that’s on Medicaid in a city on out to a Colorado farm.

Here’s what I hate about this: there is a core truth to what she’s saying. There are a lot of able-bodied Americans on Medicaid, but the vast majority, about 2/3, are working, often for very large employers whose labor costs are subsidized by the taxpayer. That is a problem.
My opinion is and has been for a long time that we should tax companies that employ more than 25 people dollar for dollar on the public assistance provided to their employees.

But even if we did, WE WOULD STILL NEED IMMIGRANT LABOR
