I mean I have a safe full of bullion. But I am not sure what good that bullion does me if the country collapses around me.

Kind of damning if even you expect upcoming hell to be the result of Trump's policies.

Load up on guns, bring your friends.

Salt might become important again.

and gold might have a low enough melting point to be able to cast it into bullets at home- but obviously there are cheaper metals to be stockpiling for that purpose.

I'm pretty sure the murder capital of the world is Kiev or Gaza City, depending on the day.

But is it even murder when a rich, white man does it?

All the "sprinklers in the houses"? Holy shit. What color is the sky in his world? Hardly anyone has sprinklers in their houses. WTF? And of course he still doesn't understand how water systems work or where SoCal gets their water from. And of course he doesn't care.

Y'all realize he's completely fucking insane, right?  I mean he might as well have said "I would have sent down the moon men with their cheese cannons to put the fire out, and there would have been no fire, because unicorns are strong."

Come on now, they’ll call you “deranged” if you point it out as insane bullshit.

That is one of the things that cracks me up about the crypto bros and the goldbugs stocking up on those things "in case of total societal collapse."
Dude.  In the event of total society collapse, the only currency of any value are (1) ammo, (2) food, and (3) drugs.

Are there actually reporters sitting there listening to his bullshit and not saying the word about it?

Y'all should listen to Mac.  He's an investment advisor, and has quite the extensive portfolio of, ummm, assets.

When Biden was in the middle of his lovely debate performance last summer, and sometime around the time he said "We defeated Medicare", the buzzards were already circling before the debate was even over. Even basically every democrat was like "Oh fuck! This is bad. Really, really bad."

Trump gets to spew absolute nonsense, and have virtually everyone go "Huh. Interesting." and then move on. Must be nice.

I'm not sure that you've seen it but the longstanding tradition of choosing the White House press pool has been changed.  They are all now hand selected by the administration.  Just more Dear Leader shit.

"Colorado has mail-in voting, which means all of their elections are crooked" - The current President of the United States, in a statement that won't be controversial.

I keep thinking stuff like this.... if Trump didn't exist, and we hired an exact clone of him at work, no one would be able to believe it. "Where the fuck did they find this person?? What's wrong with him? Is it safe to be around him? He is not tethered to reality, at all. Literally everything he says is either a lie, wrong, or both. If he's not fired by tomorrow, I will quit" etc etc.

But here on Earth one, he's the republican nominee for President three consecutive cycles, and President twice.

LOL. Yes. Let's make it easier for Denver and Boulder to dominate the state by making the people out in the boonies have a much harder time voting.

I support mail in voting in principle, but it seems utterly bizarre and unhinged that Trump would be against it. It clearly favors the red team. It is just because Democrats used it in one very specific election he lost. But that was a fluke, urban voters usually never use mail in voting.

A high-rise apartment developer's world.  I'm a bit surprised he even knows that mundane detail about his properties, but that is almost assuredly where that nugget of word salad came from.

That's what I was telling my kid yesterday. He's nuts to be going after mail-in ballots.

Surely he only even knows about that because he was required by law to put sprinlklers in his hi-rises and it pissed him off.

Yeah, this is based entirely on the fact that the Dems promoted voting by mail because of a pandemic that's no longer happening. He's such a fucking moron.

TIL that electricity isn't energy. How do I know it's true? The Secretary of Energy told me so.

I know this sounds crazy, but shouldn’t the Secretary of Energy know something about energy?

Vibes matter more than words now. Trump just has to say things in a loud, cocksure fashion. The words themselves matter not.

From the take it with a grain of salt file, considering the Times of India’s mixed factual reputation, though there is supposed to be video of the exchange: Putin and Xi, at a Chinese military parade, with KJU looking on, spoke of using organ transplants to live 150 years. And longer.

The story casts China as the new world center, especially with the US president wrapped in rumor of failing health.

This job market sucks for middle and upper middle class (e.g non waiters and bar tenders and front desk clerks at Holiday Inn).

Google the term “job hugging”
