I'm genuinely at surprised how many people think it's even possible for a Democrat to save us in 2028, as if there is going to be a fair election, and as if the current regime will step aside if it loses.

Well if they don't, we will have a whole other set of problems.

This got me thinking that the Dems need to select a sacrificial candidate during the primaries to go full heel on MAGA.  While the genuine candidates do their normal spiel, this person would hold rallies deep in the heart of MAGA country and do nothing but call them fucking losers, drains on society, shitbirds, lean all the way into it.  Take the video above about MAGA being the problem and turn it up to 11.

fine, i'll do it

Many of trump's voters in NYC voted for Mamdani.

Democrats run these empty suit corporate shill cunts again and they'll screw it up. The democrats need to run on strong democrat socialist rhetoric. Single payer healthcare, reducing costs across the board, taxing the rich at levels required to sustain the country, etc.

A fucking unknown brown Muslim came out of nowhere and smoked the establishment dem candidates in the NYC mayor race. That should be a giant light bulb moment. Democrat voters dont want establishment. Trump voters don't want establishment. Independent voters dont want establishment.

Give the voters the anti establishment, socialist Democrat populist candidates they want.

That’s all fine. However, how do you convince the rubes that they aren’t actually billionaires and not to vote against their own best interests? Just to own the libs.

Tell them to look at their paychecks and expenses and imagine if they have that extra 2-3k a month for insurance in their pockets.  Tell them to imagine if the world's richest country had the best education system, health care, standard of living and happiness in the world, instead of near the bottom across the board.

Going to be interesting.  Far too many unknowns.  If (significant “if”) Trump doesn’t run for a 3rd term, the GOP nominee will be either Rubio or Eyeliner.  Especially if it’s Rubio, that makes it even tougher for the Dems to win with an establishment moderate like Newsome or Beshear.  I think people are hungry for a dynamic/anti-establishment (straight white male) candidate.  I don’t see that player on the roster, but I suppose one could emerge.

We don’t. We rely on the bad economy and Epstein and ICE/tariffs/Ukraine to turn the many previously seldom-voting Trump enthusiasts into sitting this one out - and let the independents put us over the top.  People stupid enough to believe that Trump will fix everything in one month are stupid enough to be angry at Trump that he did not.

Threatening someone with a uniform inspection is the most POG shit I've ever heard in my life.

#36660

It really depends on who the radical right will coalesce around. If it’s Vance, then you need someone like Newsom or Shapiro to punch back and down on the magatards. I think Vance is the magatard’s final hope of keeping whatever the fuck they are alive.

If it’s someone more “traditional” like Raphael Cruz, Thune, or Rubio, then someone like Kelly could work.

That last part is fake news because America is the bestest in the world!  Exceptionalism out front should have told you.

For real, I’ve seen it play out with my maga BIL. Point out anything that could be better in America and he reflexively goes to how much worse everything is in every other country in the world. Or how at least we aren’t Afghanistan and we should be thankful.

This is several days old so I assume it's been posted but just in case. President Dropfoot and his grandson putting on suits to throw the football around and then limp along the Presidential Walk of Shame is something alright.

Trump looks like he’s having a hard time walking…

The limp will go away when he dies.

But the gold shit on the walls is going to be a lot harder to scrape off.

Trump can’t be on the ballot and even if states like Texas try some bullshit most states won’t (not just blue states).

Look the GOP basically just lost some elections earlier this month, very bigly, and MAGA influencers like Nick Fuentes, Laura Loomer, and Marjorie Taylor Greene have bailed on Trump.  He’s lost control of Congress and the chambers are fighting.  And we haven’t even gotten going with Epstein.

Vance is married to an Indian woman and his charisma sucks and I actually think all the weird shit around his close relationship to Thiel will hurt him with MAGA if it gets the spotlight.

Not to mention that other Republicans like Cruz will be working to take him down.

I guess ole Whiskey Pete is going for more of a Hitlerjugend vibe.

File under:

source.gif

It’s already been a pain in the ass to get a weekend at Camp Mabry so that’s probably finished.

We are involved in scouting and my daughter is one of those gender bending DEI Woke Cub Scouts that he is bitching about.   We might not be very involved if she weren’t   Well I know we wouldn’t be by half.

Scouts needed to add girls   There’s too many distractions for kids these days as it is (sports, video games, etc).  Many of the older packs and troops were already dying off or had shrunk and way too many of the church-based units are included in that group.  A lot of parents wanted activities for both girls and boys as well (we did) and when I was a kid my sister got dragged along everywhere and she should have been able to join in.

And there were a lot of parents and girls not interested in the cookie-selling Girl Scouts because too many of those groups were focused more on arts and crafts and non-outdoors activities

And  of course Hegseth wasn’t in scouts.  And he really does think like a fucking major.  He really has no idea how a little bit of outreach on the part of the military helps with recruiting.

And he’s too fucking stupid to know that the troops (6th grade and up) are still gender-segregated because puberty (there are pilot programs for “family” troops but those are special groups).

I suppose he will cut JROTC programs in high school next because they have girls and minorities.

But he can shit all over millions of former scouts and piss off a lot of parents and young men and women who just finished high school in recent years, who probably vote at a higher clip than normal America.

We need to be aware that the harassment and threats to legislators are not taken seriously by law enforcement. — As of October 2025, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed several new bills into law, including a budget bill addressing road funding and taxes, measures protecting homeowners and Medicaid, and legislation affecting education.  Signed in early October 2025, the new $81 billion budget was a bipartisan compromise with several key features.  Tax cuts: The budget eliminates state taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security income for three years, with the changes to take effect on January 1, 2026. Roads: The budget includes a long-term plan to invest nearly $2 billion annually for state and local road repairs, a key campaign promise from Whitmer. It redirects all gas tax revenue to roads and includes revenue from a new 24% wholesale tax on marijuana. Education: Record per-pupil funding was included, along with funding for school safety measures, special education, career and technical education, and universal free meals for all K-12 students. Medicaid: The budget secures federal funding for Medicaid by implementing a new insurer tax to replace a previous one that was being phased out. This is intended to protect healthcare access for millions of Michiganders.  Protection for homeowners (HB 4524): This bipartisan bill, signed on September 30, 2025, protects property rights by clarifying rules regarding land and home ownership. ‘Did not vote’ equals ‘does not care about Epstein’ is an interesting assumption.  It also assumes GOP voters who comprise a bunch of QAnon peeps do not care about Epstein.    I’m not saying you’re wrong fudge, but I’m saying that is not enough information to support your contention.

With the economy tanking, we don’t even need Epstein. But even 4 or 5% MAGA staying home would be huge.
