Even if he’s not in DC this guy is a real dumbass. Guess what, if you’re in the Michelin star restaurant and artisan bakery business, your clientele and MAGA have little overlap.  Anyway, FAFO  and I hope he has to go sling MAGA dogs to boomers somewhere.

Go work at Trump burger

Yeah, I know that every time I eat at Reggie's the service is lousy, the prices are outrageous, and I get food poisoning, but I'd rather starve to death than eat at that restaurant down the street with better food and lower prices because Fox says that all their food contains baby blood.

Portugal has now ruled out buying the US-made F-35 fighter jet because of Trump’s attacks against Europe and NATO.

This will cost the US tens of millions of dollars.

My MIL called my wife and was bitching about how bad Biden left the economy. Godspeed old lady. Wait till you see what trump does to you! They live off SS, Medicare and me. Mostly me fixing their hovel. They have a new roof, septic, kitchen, and ac so they should be good until they have to go back to work at Walmart at 80. I am not buying them groceries because they need to pull thier boot straps up and get to work like their God wanted and they voted for. Leapards will feast. Idgaf.

I would feel the same way, were I you. Luckily, my MIL is a suspicious woman. Not of family, but of news from the world. She sees the silver lining in having a reason to go to the Capitol and be among other folk, while standing present for her beliefs. I have warned her to expect her SS check to vanish, and I don’t think she believes it possible. She doesn’t need it, (though millions absolutely do need it,) other than it buttresses her (correct) belief that she is still an earner. She’s 92, a treasure, and may painful death await anyone who harms her in any way.

Means testing is a good idea, imo, to improve SS, but reasonable dialogue and compromise might as well be in another universe. I guarantee

So much winning

In the spirit maker’s quarterly earnings call on March 5, CEO Lawson Whiting said blocking consumers from buying American-made products in Canada or other countries is a crushing blow for U.S. companies.

“That’s worse than a tariff because it’s literally taking your sales away completely, removing our products on the shelves,” Whiting told investors. “That’s a very disproportionate response to a 25% tariff."

Just as a reminder, these dipshits were around during Trump's first presidency, which included Trump redrawing lines on a hurricane map, Trump saying windmills cause cancer, Trump saying that global warming was a Chinese conspiracy, Trump saying that we should rake forests, and, of course, the daily barrage on common sense while a global pandemic was killing thousands of Americans per day.  They don't get to pretend that this is a surprise.  They don't get to pretend they didn't have the data.  They just didn't think they'd be personally affected.

All these people who can't believe Trump lied to them are a product of living in the Fox News misinformation bubble.

We're all like, "Of course he lied to you -- that's what he does, stupid.  How could you not see this coming?"

But they really didn't, because they've never heard the litany of stories about how Trump has treated past business partners, etc.  It's amazing how Fox News was able to create a semi-fictional reality and convince a hundred million people that they lived in it.

But even as I type that, I still can't manage to drum up an ounce of compassion for these people.  Yeah, they were hoodwinked by Fox, and they're being hoodwinked again by Trump, Musk, and a bunch of other colossal assholes.  But decent people did try to reach them.  They called the people who tried to save them libtards, Communists, intellectual elitists, and more.  They wouldn't even take two seconds to put a mask on during a pandemic, and they cheered on the incarceration of brown women and children at the border.  And they were so god damned smug about all of it.

Welp, you're learning now, aren't you, you stupid little pawns?

Don't try and change the topic. You absolutely know your first post was bullshit. That economic activity was not going to get shifted to the another part of the US economy. It is gone. So are the jobs that go with it. Again, you deserve some massive face eating and suffering. At least other people can claim ignorance. You're smart enough to know better.

It's literally his career to play dumb except for when he can cynically find a technical reason to disagree and deny.

He's not better than this. It's all that he can muster.

The beef post is bullshit. Snopes calls it false. The first one is obviously not, but there's no evidence to support the second one.

Yeah, means testing is fine. High earners don’t need 4K a month to pay country club dues.  If they lose their $, then start the SS up again for food and shelter.   $200k cap?

But what are you testing? Other income? Assets? If just income, you'd actually be harming those that would be more likely to need the funds since they were still working. It wouldn't make sense to me to exclude the person still actively working and yet allow the person with millions in retirement assets to still receive SS.
