lol trump gives fuckall about guns

remember pre covid post whichever shooting when he sat there and said they could take the guns.

I remember

Yeah but @fattyflattie and @BHMCruiser think that’s ok because reasons. The NRA represents gun owners and Donald Trump takes gun rights and the 2nd Amendment very seriously.

Good she can start by rounding up that dumbfuck mayor of Dearborn

One good side effect of that would be no longer having to hear somebody say "I work at a NON-PROFIT..." trailing off to imply "I'm not a money-grubber like you. I have ideals."

Louisiana and Oklahoma always seem in a race to the bottom in tax rates for O&G producers in their state. Like those companies are going to pack up stakes and move. Who needs police, fire, and teachers?

I know Boeing is certainly tired of the over regulation.  What could possibly go wrong with less regulation?   We're lucky if we aren't charged extra for all the free air that the former door now provides.

Oklahoma likes to give away their most valuable resource for pennies on the dollar and then slash school budgets because they have no money.

immigrants in blue states = bad immigrants

immigrants in red states = good immigrants

immigrants hired by democrats = bad immigrants

immigrants hired by republicans/companies that stroke Trump's ego/companies that pay bribes = good immigrants

This could be the deportation plan.

Apparently the cost of Thanksgiving Dinner is lower than it has been and if adjusted for inflation the lowest it’s been in decades. I was told groceries cost too much.

Will we start with the churches?

One thing I have noticed over the years is how the resistance to taxing religious institutions has been reduced.  This is a good thing.

Which is why the push for Christianity in schools is going to go through the roof.

I could not be more indifferent to the "Wah, they don't have a member of my fringe party in the cabinet" whining. It doesn't even move the needly with regard to inequity and the hurt being felt by people around the world. hopefully those are the first people whose faces get eaten

If there was any doubt about whether the radical "all-in, super-pro-Palestinian" crowd in the US is utter fucking morons (a point on which, begrudgingly, the right-wing assholes and I are in pretty good agreement), that sort of take seals the deal.

"We had no idea a guy whose LITERAL first major policy move was a 'muslim ban,' who is best buds with Bibi, and who proudly talks about how hard he sucks Israel's dick......would side with Israel" -- well, that's a fucking gem of a take.

Sounds like some DEI shit that you specifically voted against when you chose to vote for Trump and not Kamala.

I assume that, given those response percentages, question 30 has an "I don't know" or "about the same" type answer, and therein lies the problem.

Can't wait for avocados to cost $10 each.  I mean, 90% of them consumed in the US comes from there.

I'm sure plenty of people will be accepting of an avocado "tax" their favorite restaurant starts charging as well.

Well, if you looked, that probably corresponds to the increasing lack of respect for separation of church and state.  Mainstream denominations still practice and respect it.  Baptists and fundagelicals, not so much.

Yep, and don't remmeber immigration in the new law.

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is a trade agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada that went into effect on July 1, 2020. It replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which was in effect from 1994 to 2020. The USMCA aims to create freer markets, fairer trade, and economic growth in North America

Oh, and Trump admin negotiated it.

FYI, he also stated he's adding a 10% tariff on everything from China on top of any tariffs on Chinese imports that are already in place:

Same shit different name, but it's the same problem.

Unless we're just off the rails on day one, an executive order doesn't overrule the law
