Maybe instead of his NFL career sputtering to a premature end (like his college career) because he's hard-headed, Warren's NFL career will be a failure to launch. Dummy.

Poona reminds me of Casey Hampton. Pretty quiet publicly here but a true blue collar guy. He just worked hard and got it done.

I hope he has an NFL career like Hampton's.

Casey was 6'1", Poona 5'11". Sometimes two inches can make all the difference in the world. Ask South Austin's mom.

so he will play where ever they want him to but he will only play RB 110%..... so in essence.... he will not play anywhere they want him to play?  makes sense why Warren didn't have the grades to transfer to another school

So...physical giant, mental midget? Flip another coin, Chris.

I hope he has a good career in the NFL (as unlikely as that probably is).

Longhorns excelling in the league reflects positively on the school and coaches which, in turn, benefits recruiting.

Stay healthy and what round he went in will be irrelevant to Poona Ford in three or four years.  He'll rake in $$$ on his second contract.

Hoping that Connie secured a first round spot

Sending our softball coach to the NFL draft to get rid of her, now that's forward-thinking.
