Recommend me a book that will make me better. Something uplifting and humorous that won't make me feel like shit.

Something that will give me some insight that will make me a better person.

Or flame away... that'll work too.

Everybody Always by Bob Goff. Easy and uplifting read that will make you think about how you see and react in situations. The author is a great guy that give his personal phone number out in his book. You can literally call him anytime and more than likely, he will answer.  I have been at one of his talks where he stopped his lecture to answer the phone.

Not exactly uplifting in a traditional sense, but Slaughterhouse-Five fills every other part.

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig really stuck with me. It kind of sneaks up on you and makes you think about life in a way that feels comforting rather than depressing. It's one of those books that makes you pause without sending you into a spiral.

You Are Here (For Now) by Adam J. Kurtz feels like getting a no-nonsense pep talk from a friend who swears a lot but genuinely wants the best for you. It left me feeling lighter and somehow more motivated.
