December 1, 20241 yr I mean Texas really is in a no lose situation this weekend in Atlanta. Texas wins we are the #2/#1 seed depending on the B1G CCG. If we lose, we are likely the #5 seed and get the easiest path to a long run in the playoffs.

They will likely tell you it was those horrible, rich, hand-me-down-money Austinites who were able to afford $1000 seats and that's why the 12th man was really only an 11.5th man tonight.

It's not working at all and it was mainly just a way to get defenders to bite at the LOS when the run game wasn't working. The run game is cooking. Teams are going to have to send numbers to the LOS now. Get rid of the horizontal pass game and just run the ball. It accomplishes the same thing and it's more effective in the first place. I used to think this way but these are not Greg Davis horizontal pass plays. When these are blocked well they're a thing of beauty and free up other stuff like a couple of Goldens wide ass open tds recently

December 1, 20241 yr If Michigan can beat Ohio State in Columbus this year, I can believe Penn ST can beat Oregon, not likely, but no impossible. Ohio State had Oregon beat till they made that stupid offensive pass interference penalty.

I didn't really have an issue with that call, but if Quinn is going to carry the ball past the line of scrimmage, he needs to learn how to tuck the fuckin ball away with both arms when going down. You can bet Georgia will be looking to separate him from the ball every chance they get. I had that same question. Isn't the play dead when he starts to slide? It got knocked out after he started to slide but before his knee hit.

But correct me if I'm wrong. The "start of the slide" is when the knee (or whatever body part other than a foot or hand) first goes down. In college it really doesn't even mean anything because you're always down then regardless of if a defender has touched you. Announcers started using it because of NFL games where that specific rule actually matters. It just means they don't get any of the yards that they slide forward.

December 1, 20241 yr Pretty honest take from their end. We gave them opportunities and we didn't let them capitalize on it.
