Anyone know what is up with Bond? Saw Sark talking to him in huddle a few times and sort of seems like he's on the fringe of the "circle of trust" at WR. Wasn't on the same page with Ewers a couple times last night.

Needs to get his shit together. Offense is a different animal when he’s on point.

I thought the broadcast mentioned he was a bit hobbled still. I don't think he's fully healed from his injury. He's not the same player yet. Maybe playing Georgia will awaken him.

Instead of Collin last night the gomers would have been better off having this guy calling plays?

I do have one other thought this morning.  I was very surprised that Turner did not get any PF penalties.  I would have bet he would have gotten one.  Both teams kept it clean IMO.  Way better than some of the actions displayed by other teams yesterday.

Why keep playing him if he's not 100%? Hasn't been super impactful in a few weeks and seems like we would've been better off just letting him get fully healthy for UGA and CFP

I liked how Sark immediately put a stop to the unnecessary, A&M mid-field logo stomping.

Well, I noobed this reply but was thinking the same thing . The 4th down goal line stand was fantastic, the first one on their initial drive in the RZ was also crucial.

The ref stuff is unreal, both our td’s had to be corrected by replay, they also tried to kick out one of our best defenders with a bullshit targeting penalty and replay had to save us again. Their db Lee was getting away with personal fouls. We got no favors.

What a horrendously dumb call. Extra blocker on the right side but run up the middle.

I had the same thought.  How many teams can lose their All-American projected top 10 draft pick left tackle and not skip a beat?

He had a knee sleeve on and has been dealing with an ankle injury. Make it through the sec champion and we will get 2-3 weeks rest

He was being held and grabbed every time he was targeted (never called) minus the one 3rd down play when QE short-armed it toward him.

At least they didn’t cut the logo out with a knife to steal it as a souvenir.

Because instead of being a high 4.2 to low 4.3 receiver he’s still a 4.4 guy even if not 100%. If he got a cleaner release and his arm wasn’t being grabbed he has an easy touchdown on one of our plays.

We need more guys who played lacrosse.

The biggest play of the night was the 3rd down pass to Helm after the pick 6.   I'm still not sure how he caught it or the ball got there.

Didn't Colten Vasek play lacrosse at Westlake, too?

I thought aggy's #1 had another Pick 6 coming on that throw. Divine intervention there and very lucky.

At the beginning, Fowler says "The traditions and vibe they create is absolutely (pause) unique in sports."

I think he should have gone with "weird", personally.

While he might not be a 100%, he can at least try to run the right routes. That doesn't have anything to do with being injured.

If we had to punt deep in our territory there, I'm not sure we win that game.

I'm disappointed in myself for being nervous about this game and giving Kyle Field/A&M fans so much credit. Lesson learned, again.

Ewers clearly expected Bond to break towards the sideline on that one throw. You could see it in his reaction.

VB must have been wearing his invisibility cloak on this play. Two aggy blockers ran right past him before he detonated the play.

Pretty ballsy call by Pk.. A&M had 3 TEs in the game there. Texas puts 9 on the LOS, completely sells out on the run. Pop pass and it’s probably an easy TD.

I am -- we were playing aggy.

2 minutes ago, dcar00 said:

Yes, that was possible, but:

A) We're talking about aggy here,

B) even if they scoop and score, they're still losing by three and have to give the ball back to the 'Horns who have been running the ball down their throats all night.  aggy was never winning that game last night.

I think PK knew exactly what they were going to do. During the course of the game our players were adjusting and calling out sides for plays.

One thing that hasn’t changed in the last 13 years was aggy cares way more about the pomp and circumstance of Friday night yell, the crowd noise and pre game hype than anything else. 12th man fight never deadssssss! Dar dar.

Poor Broughton. Dominated his blocker and had it stuffed for a 3 yard loss but didn't get the glory because Burke was unblocked to stuff it for a 3.5 yard loss.

What a performance by Broughton all night.

Yeah what’s beautiful about this is that even if Burke doesn’t blow him up, Broughton is going to.

Lol what are you people watching sometimes? That 3rd down play was a miscommunication, it wasn't short armed. Ewers threw an out, Bond didn't cut out. This post and all the dumb ones blaming Ewers when Helm didn't look for the hot read on the first series.
