December 4, 20241 yr This is about as good as it gets. Great coaches, great players, great culture, great school, great city. Enjoy!

December 5, 20241 yr Is this a more athletic LilJordan or what are we getting here?If he can learn to block I see an unstoppable TE.
December 22, 20241 yr He has that glide aspect. Could be a big back with potential out of the backfield.
December 22, 20241 yr Blue looked like a couple of those highlights on his run against Clemson. It's criminal how badly Dabo has dropped the ball with that defense. Those dudes were high school jag on a highlight reel slow

December 23, 20241 yr It’s unfortunate that with the realignment two years ago, the UIL forced AH to play in the SAISD, because after all, that’s where they reside. They had zero competition during district play and frankly playing their JV in practice probably gave them better looks during mid-week than on Friday nights. They tried to fight to get back to like playing Kerrville, Boerne, Marble Falls and etc, but was denied.Hook’em!!!

I remember a few years back a dlineman named Roberson came out of S.A. his school played saisd schedule. He got to UT and the level of competition was too much he ended up transferring out. I do think it's a bit different with Terry though. I trust the staffs evaluations.

I always hoped Herman would utilize him in a similar role to how Urban used Hernandez as an H-Back. He was great as the “dive” or shovel man in Urban’s version of the triple option.
December 23, 20241 yr I officiated games for AH when MT was a Freshman and Sophomore, already on the Varsity. Coach Rittimann, by Terry’s Soph year already used him in multiple positions on offense. As an Umpire (by the LBs) I never knew where he’d line up, as he was already that kind of athlete. Dude was amazing already!I stopped officiating before last season.Hook’em!!!

He played at Brennan HS in Northside ISD so he played much better competition than that, and went 15-1 only losing to Jerrod Heard and Denton Guyer in the finals his senior season. Roberson is still hanging around as a fringe NFL/ UFL guy. It may not have worked out at Texas but it wasn't due to a lack of competition or even talent on Roberson's part.

Brennan is an NISD school but was grouped with the SAISD district the first few years after opening before their enrollment reached the highest class. I think their 2nd season they actually lost to Sam Houston when SH had that team with 9 D1 players on it.

Derek Roberson's school, Brennan was 4A back then because they were a new school. He was a solid player, and still probably one of the best to come out of a consitenly good Brennan program.
