Ewers threw for 358 yards. I would have guessed 158.

One TD that was all YAC. Two bad picks. Took - what - 8 fucking sacks?

Sark is not an offensive genius.  Let's just stop saying that now

I don't know about today, but in tape review of previous games the biggest issue is Quinn turning down winning plays. Not seeing them, not processing it quick enough, who knows why. But it happens over and over. Sark will scheme winners and Quinn misses it.

Sark with competent QBs, very good lines, and talent at WR kills college defenses historically. Mac Jones was a monster under him. Quinn just isn't very good, at least not considering everything around him and his experience level.

I assume he feels Arch isn't ready for the moment, or else there are other extenuating circumstances we don't know, but Arch is the QB whose strengths hurt that Georgia defense.

If you notice, other than Owens, Sark is recruiting QBs that can situationally run with the ball and hurt defenses when needed. He notices that is a weakness of the offense with Quinn.

Not drunk anymore, gonna spend time with fam.God bless.

I’m sorry for your loss

We couldn’t run the ball as the offense has no threat of the QB pulling it or doing power ala Georgia Tech or Ole Miss.

thanks Quinn for coming and starting a new era, but I’ll be glad when we finally move on to Manning.

also, Bert and the punter 100% should expect to be portaled over. Both have been liabilities all year.

Hopefully we now get lined up against somebody shitty in the playoffs and Georgia’s losses knock them out early

Lots of idiots on this board.  Saw Quinn hit Golden in the hands for a TD which he dropped.  Saw him throw Gunner for a TD where he ran a bad route and we got called for holding.  Say Bond quit on a play that caused an interception.  Saw Moore drop 2 passes that hit him in the hands.  OL gave up too many sacks, too many holds.  Special teams missed two 40 yard FGs.  Special teams gave up a fake punt.  Defense played lights out but let a back up QB drive on us.   I also say Quinn throw dimes to get us out of 3rd and long multiple times.  Quinn played well enough for us to win considering the dude has a bum ankle.  The reality is that we could not finish drives and if we make even 1 of the 2 missed FGs, we win this game.

Well then I wish him the best at whichever school he transfers to

I cannot remember the last time I was this pissed over a game. There's so much at fault, but I'm not gonna list them

they've been hashed to death.  I'm just pissed at everyone but our defense, WR's, and Wisner.

refs didn’t keep ut out of the end zone that first half

we were going in early and then had the facemask / "holding" offsetting.  they kept stopping momentum.

As much as I appreciate the few good throws Ewers makes, I'm tired of seeing him looking like he's in concrete, making bad throws and decisions

Gets pressured —> loses yards —> 3rd & long —> gets pressured.

Yall ready to lose at DKR to ASU? Playoffs are a fucking joke.. woof woof woof! Go GA!

Hook’em

Defense played lights out. In regulation.

Oh Burt, damn son. damnit Burt

the refs suck. Fuck you zebras

Fuck Kirby smart
I wish the outcome would have been different.
I wish a lot of things.

Ewers isn’t the guy and I like him, but he ain’t.

ready for the playoffs

bring on Arch. We have playmakers. Get the ball to them damnit.

hook’em hope none of y’all had a heart attack

Fuck the refs protecting that fat fuck Kirby Smart. And jawja.

please play arch! 16 years in the 3rd quarter ain’t a franchise QB and again I like Ewers, a freshman QB for Georgia came in and played better when it counted. Jesus.

see yall when im not as fucking pissed at the ref calls and the fact whatever happened to QE that guy that beat Bama ain’t there no more.

Coaching staff isn't good enough. Quarterback isn't good enough. Defense is good enough, but it's not going to matter. When I say my enthusiasm is gone I mean this team ain't good enough to win a title.

We’ll find out. Other teams are bad too. Hope we don’t play Georgia again.

A lack of execution by the QB had a lot to do with it. Quinn played better than other recent games, but still a disappointing performance overall. He really fizzled at the end of the 4th Q and in OT. Special teams really screwed us and in the first half we had a lot of boneheaded penalties. Just absolute boneheadedness by those players. They killed drives and canceled great plays.

Our defense did their part though. STs and offense are the culprits.

As well as Sark on this one.

bullshit, we were throwing the ball plenty

Just because passes were thrown don't mean he didn't play timid. Those 2 missed field goals, should have been plays to get 1st downs. Georgia faked a punt, they were playing to win.

Not if your only run play is up the middle for a loss.

People were bitching when outside zone was getting stuffed too. We could not run the ball at all.

Ok. Chill. This will just make it more satisfying when we win the whole thing.

Fake punt convert was turning point in game.  Why was Texas so unprepared for something so predictable?

Well we have one more week of football then seasons over. It went by fast

1st and 10 on the 14 with 40 seconds left and he calls some triple deke bullshit that results in a sack. That’s on the head coach/OC

Not with QE for sure

Why Sark use Arch in Red Zone against aggy but not Georgia?

I was more perplexed that we used Arch at the 25 yard line but never inside the 15 yard line. Ewers should never take a snap inside the 15.

Just now, Penche Gringo said:

Watched GT run all over them with power read. Why wouldn’t you do that with Arch?

Man they barely tried to run between the tackles which WORKED FOR THEM THE LAST TWO WEEKS. They didn't have to use something another team did. They didn't do the shit that worked for them.

Somewhere else cause it won’t be in Austin

Somehow I feel less devastated than I would imagine.  SEC exposed for reffing like the big12 for the entire game.   Ewers totally exposed.   Someone more educated than I am tell me, was the slant really open the entire game? And we threw it one time?

The unit I am most disappointed in is the OL.  I really thought they would show up better than they did.

With a decent kicker we win.  With some luck on the Georgia fumbles they recovered we win.

So Georgia has two weeks off to hear how great they are?  I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose their next game.  We still have a small chance to see them one more time, in the NC game.

True but You are forgetting the shitty special teams from the monkeyfucking coach.  And stupid penalties killing big plays.  And no blocking on that pick.

should have been a pick 6 no matter what, the worst return ever

Lol, every sack is on Ewers yea?

Guilbeau blocks that guy and it's a touchdown.

So many reasons we lost this one but Jesus - it was right there.

Is Arch going to be starting then? Absolutely the only way we win. Quinn is as dorky as Chris Simms

No reason to have the offensive struggles in the passing game in the second half with the weapons that we have. Quinn just doesn't have that "it" factor. Major had it, Vince damn sure had it, Colt damn sure had it, 3rd year in and I expected more from Quinn. He's just not a guy that inspires confidence.

The playcalling and ST doomed us tonight. WHY not put Arch in and give Kirby something else to think about? Make a freshman Tebow package, something. And why take back to back shots to the endzone, meanwhile Georgia is taking what we give them.

As much as everyone wants to shit on Ewers, here’s why we lose:

28 carries 31 yards.

you can’t win a game being abysmal on the ground like that.

Arch at QB improves those rushing numbers through his runs as well as opening things up for Wisner due to threat of Arch run.

Quinn with 5 TDs and 5 INTs against Georgia (2x), OU, and A&M. Only “big-time” game he showed up to was Michigan and we found out they sucked.

They gifted us the gameplan and we didnt take it cuz our dude has stonefeet

We need to come to a realization or maybe it’s just me that our offense is above average

We aren’t and that’s ok. This team doesn’t have it this year. We will be a force for a few years though.

We had 112 more yards but weren't able to get it done in the red zone or with field goals.

slants are great if your QB isn't a batted down fucking machine

No, the slant was not open all game. That’s what message board users say all game for all teams.

We all knew our running game would be a problem. Wisner is good, situationally. He does not have the build for this type of defense.
