TLDR: Dude stab company president during a meeting.

https://www.woodtv.com/news/muskegon-county/police-look-for-motive-in-stabbing-of-company-president/

Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, several staff members gathered for a meeting at Anderson Express Inc. on South Mill Iron Road. In the middle of it, police say Mahoney got up and left. When he came back 10 minutes later, police say he walked over to the president of the company and stabbed him in the side.

Mahoney left the building in his vehicle before authorities later took him into custody. He was arraigned Wednesday morning on a charge of assault with intent to murder. The court reportedly set bond at 10% cash/surety of $500,000.

The company president was hospitalized and went through surgery. He is expected to recover.

Mahoney had only worked for the manufacturing company for two weeks and was being trained to replace a retiring employee at a high position in the company, police said. Employees told police that Mahoney was quiet.

A friend of mind was in that building, on that floor, in a meeting down the hall when that happened. Said there was a huge boom, the building shook, ceiling tiles were falling out onto them.

I saw the smoke as I was driving to work and heard on the radio what had happened. Called him as he was heading down the stairs and out of the building. He was kind of in shock.

So, I just answered medical questions for disability insurance. I told the phone examiner that I had exercise induced asthma on occasion. She then asked follow up questions.

Her: Have you ever coughed up blood or sputum?

Me: You are asking if I’ve ever spit?

Her:  Have you ever coughed up blood or sputum?

Me: No, I have never coughed up blood, but I have loogied.

Her: So, is that a yes or a no?

Me: No

Psychiatrist: So how does that make you feel?

Suspect Found Throwing Explosive Devices at Tesla Vehicles

 Summarize

February 28, 2025 by David Jones

A 40-year-old woman, Lucy Grace Nelson, was apprehended by the Loveland Police Department in Colorado on charges of vandalizing a Tesla dealership and hurling Molotov cocktails at vehicles on the property. The incident is the latest in a series of protests against Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Nelson, previously known as Justin Thomas Nelson, was arrested late Monday night, as she returned to the dealership armed with additional explosive devices and materials for vandalism.

The arrest affidavit reveals that Nelson targeted at least four cars, collectively valued at $220,000, with explosive devices crafted from empty liquor bottles. Upon her arrest, police discovered cans of spray paint, gasoline, empty bottles, and cloth fragments possibly drenched in accelerant in her vehicle.

The police are exploring the likelihood of another individual being involved in the recurrent vandalism. Chris Padgett, the information officer for the police department, stated that while the investigation into Nelson’s motive is ongoing, protesting against Musk is a plausible suspicion. Nelson was charged with the use of explosive devices, criminal mischief, and attempted felony.

Nelson was detained with a $100,000 cash bond, which she posted and was subsequently released on Tuesday, according to Padgett. The local police are collaborating with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and it is anticipated that federal charges will be forthcoming.

The Tesla dealership in Loveland has been a repeated target of vandalism and explosive devices since January. The dealership and its vehicles were defaced with graffiti that was described as “very offensive” and “derogatory in nature” by Padgett.

Protests have been staged at several Tesla showrooms across the country, and some Tesla owners have reported vandalism of their vehicles. A campaign known as #TeslaTakedown, spearheaded by actor Alex Winter, encourages shareholders to divest their Tesla shares and owners to sell their vehicles. Winter stated in a Rolling Stone op-ed that over 100 Tesla dealerships have been the site of demonstrations.

Never vandalize the same spot twice.

Does this actually have the reverse effect these people are looking for?  Teslas aren’t moving, so o revenue, but vandalism allows for insurance claims.

Correct.

The vandalism should be aimed at everything Elon owns personally.  And the factories themselves.  I mean, if you were to do such a thing, which is illegal, and you shouldn't.
