Not that you wrote this, but as a former baseball coach and a current softball coach, I have to say it - unless Parker's run counted as two, this is not possible.

"With two outs, in the bottom of the 9th, the Pirates still down by a run with the winning run Parker, on third base."

Parker would have been the tying run in this scenario.

Obviously the tying run was on fourth base

Always thought Madsen had the potential to be a much bigger actor but he was more successful than 99.9% and has some roles that will be remembered for a long time. especially his connection with Tarantino.

You could probably start one in IPIHB for some of them.

It's actually not the worst of its genre.

“Kenneth Colley, the acclaimed English actor best known for his role as Admiral Piett in the Star Wars saga, has died at the age of 87.

He had contracted Covid and developed pneumonia, his agent confirmed.

Colley was a prominent figure in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, portraying the imperial officer who commanded Darth Vader’s flagship.”

Anybody got Kathy Griffin? That loon is off the rails...

Kathy Griffin wears a Kathy Griffin shirt?

She always struck me as the type of person that went to comedy to be self depreciating because she had no self esteem. She wasn't funny at all, but somehow she became somewhat successful.  And then her low self esteem took over and she kept chasing some look that was never gonna happen for her. Holy fuck that is frightening.

It is I suppose an odd coincidence that both he and Shannen Dougherty were on Charmed together. In real life they hooked up even though their characters on Charmed did not.

he was pretty much imo amazing in everything he did. Damn.

Felix Baumgartner, who jumped from the stratosphere in 2012, has died in a paragliding accident in Italy. He was 56

I recall that his stratosphere jump was something like 25 miles and he broke the sounds barrier on the way down.

Pretty solid pick in hindsight.

Topped out at 843 MPH.

There's insanity and then there was this.

I wish I could show this show to my kids.

The cosby show was solid entertainment. Good writing and acting. As bad as Bill Cosby was personally, he was so good at entertaining.

Hopefully after he dies, the show can be separated from his poor and illegal behavior.
