September 8, 20241 yr Author Still watching the Texas game. (Had to coach today). Need to watch this one later. But based on how we looked against Kennesaw State…. not too surprised.
September 9, 20241 yr The latter. Marburger started the 2nd half. I believe the line is Texas -30.That line will be going up. I guess I could see a deal where we’re up at halftime 28-7, and dick around in the second half and win 42-14 or something. But that almost feels like worst case scenario. 63-7 is more likely imo.

September 10, 20241 yr UTSA Head Coach Jeff Traylor Weekly Media Zoom Says this Texas team will be the best team that utsa has played since Traylor has been at utsa. Owen McCown will be their starting QB vs Texas. Also a lot of new offensive starters for utsa, while QB Frank Harris is finally gone...
September 21, 20241 yr I knew the beeps were soft, considering they need aircon and other teams to get any kind of crowd, but damn! Can't wait to see pics from the dome later today.

September 21, 20241 yr I don’t follow the program closely, is there any talk of building their own smaller stadium?
September 21, 20241 yr They could pay rent at a high school stadium. I supported this team until their shitass behavior while getting their asses handed to them.

I don't know about anything official, but the fans certainly talk about it. AFAIK, they get the Alamodome for free, and the dome gets the on-prem revenue (feel free to correct me on that), so I don't know that the school is trying to spend more money there. They do have a nice new athletic training facility on campus: https://goutsa.com/roadrunner-athletics-center-of-excellence The rest of their facilities are ass, my dude. Baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball - all HS level.

November 2, 20241 yr Big win today by the Roadrunners! Memphis came to SA having only lost to Navy. Runners’ gave up a big lead last week in Tulsa.Small crowd today for a 3-5 team coming into today, but those there, to include my daughter (no pics) and I, had a great time! She graduates this December, so most likely our last game together with her being a student.24-24 at the half, then the 3rd was all UTSA as they broke out to a 41-24 lead, before Memphis put some points on the board in the 4th. Great time by all UTSA fans in attendance, in their version of a “black out” with uniforms (all black) and turning out the Alamodome lights in a couple different occasions to get the crowd involved even more.Go Runners!Hook’em!!!

August 1Aug 1 In little more than a year, Jenna Learn has continued to quickly climb the personnel ranks in Jeff Traylor's UTSA program. Learn, in 2024 the director of recruiting strategy for UTSA, was elevated to the role of assistant general manager and director of recruiting strategy this month, FootballScoop learned. It's another big move in a career already filled with them -- despite Learn being just 23 years old. An early college graduate at USF, where she served as a student-worker in both 2020-21 and completed her bachelor's degree by age 20, Learn immediately became USF's football operations and recruiting coordinator -- making her one of college football's youngest full-time staffers anywhere in FBS. Learn followed up her USF work with a year on staff at Michigan State, where again she served as director of on-campus recruiting and, under the tutelage of Mark Diethorn, the veteran personnel man with ACC and Big Ten experience, emerged as the youngest director in Power 4 football. Now, barely 18 months following her initial arrival in San Antonio, Learn is again on the rise, poised to continue the recruiting work while also getting more involved for the Roadrunners in Name, Image and Likeness as well as roster management. UTSA opens its 2025 season, Traylor's sixth at the helm, Aug. 30 with a massive test at Mike Elko's Texas A&M program. Traylor's guided the Roadrunners to a winning season in each of his first five years, including a three-year stretch from 2021-23 in which the Roadrunners amassed 32 wins. Hmmm... 23 years old Spoiler
