Yeah I think Stone needs to go.

If he's even at the game.

Yeah he was roaming the sidelines

The thing is this game isn't over or even out of reach if  SMU doesn't keep turning it over.  Penn St is not good

I can see why Franklin loses big games if this is how he calls them. He's lucky the ACC is complete dogshit and got 2 teams in. He'd be fucked against Alabama today.

Preston Stone would get eaten up by this Penn State front. Relatively immobile, and not any more accurate than Jennings.

Jennings needs to stress them with his legs more.

That's like saying we can score 35+ every game if Ewers could only stop turning it over and start hitting deep balls.

Because our QB has thrown two pick 6s?

Y'all need to chill out and watch the fucking game. Ton of time left.

I’m watching the game. Jennings sucks.

He’s gonna throw two more picks today.  At least.

Half way there Nostradamus.

PSU is fine. We're legit on both sides of the ball we need our QB to not throw three fucking picks in the motherfucking first fucking fuck fuck first half God fucking damn hell fuck me.

Fuck they had the QB too but let him get away.

Can we just skip through this game of fucktards and start the Texas game, already?

Yet SMU keeps turning it over.

Yeah

I had to go edit my post.  I have never heard of the “give the ball to the other team on purpose” offense - but it’s a hell of a wrinkle to add in the post season.

True...but it's more about Jennings playing so poorly than anything Penn St is doing.

I think if we played Penn St 10 times they would score 5 total TDs. It’s unreal how easy of a CFP path they got.

SMU D needs to score.

Thanks, Mack.

Let’s be clear. Penn state sucks on offense. Defense? Not sure because Jennings is playing like a toddler.

this might be the worst performance by a QB in a big game since Chris Sims went full regard vs Colorado in 01

this is so bad that its starting to look like Jennings is on the take.

Nah i'm watching ya'll push their defense around despite your QB playing so bad.  And their offense looks bad.

Penn state is getting beat in the next round if they don't improve a LOT.

Penn St had over 500 yards of offense against Oregon.

Lulling Ped State into a false sense of security

That entire conference is trash.

These idiots should probably watch a Kansas State home game at some point.  I'm kinda shocked they don't also do the Kansas State/Texans "GOOD FOR ANOTHER SHITBOX FIRST DOWN!" thing

that play was fucked from the beginning.... shudda been a fail

instead  TD penn state.

God damn Penn ST is soooo fucking lucky today.  That should have been a horrible blwon up play.

And now it's 21-0 and the game is over.

God they're going to suck Penn State's dick so fucking much after this game.

That was a forward pass!

idiotic not to challenge that

Yep .. that was a pick

Then he was 15 yards off his receiver 2 plays later.

Meanwhile hot Dakota and cold Dakota are tied

Ponies are just about ready to roll over, methinks.

That TD is what we deserve.

Complete dogshit when it matters to start. Hope KJ learns from this and takes it into next season.

Still not giving up.

That'll do it. SMU had so many missed opportunities

Can Penn State keep an erection if the opponent stops fighting back?

The streets are saying SMU’s backup is in the portal so they have no option other than Jennings?

they should let lashlee know

Quote

Penn State and SMU have more than a few things in common ahead of their first round College Football Playoff matchup on Saturday. Each is in the 12-team field for the first time. Both have a top-20 offense and a top-30 defense. They each have a backup quarterback in the transfer portal, too.

SMU and Penn State backup QBs are both in the portal, but only one is available for the CFP; ‘it’s huge,’ Mustangs’ coach says

But, there is one major difference about that: Mustang Preston Stone is sticking with the team for the duration of its postseason run. Nittany Lion Beau Pribula is not. It’s true that if either team must turn to their No. 2 option under center, for any reason, their chances of winning will be greatly impacted. But, while this weekend’s home team has an advantage in many areas, this will not be one of them.

“Yeah, I mean, it’s huge,” Mustangs coach Rhett Lashlee said Tuesday. “You keep some continuity. As we all know, Preston’s played a lot of football, won a lot of games. That’s been a big deal for us all year. You know, even at Louisville, when he went in and one play throws a touchdown pass. So, you know, we do have Keldric Luster, who we have a lot of belief in. I mean, we think Keldric’s more than capable of going in the game and playing winning football right now, and we expect that to be the case next year as well.

“But to have the experience that Preston brings is definitely a positive for us in the event that we have to turn to our second guy. Just because, you know, this environment and this stage that we’re getting to play on is not your week two home game stage. So, having that experience is definitely a plus for us.”
