Not surly, but that recesstailgate I sent you was doing a good cheap one. It's on their flyer/site where the location is.

Gotcha. I just assumed you had partnered with them and was involved.

  • I admire the talent that's been built up in Austin, but I honestly think ASU has got you beat. Unless you're talking about football players.  Then Texas comes out on top.

  • If y'all want to make this an OnlyFans girl battle instead of a football game, ASU is going to kick your fucking ass.

  • They allowed Josh Heupel at Ohio State's stadium. I don't see the distinction.

Also don't see anything in regard to actual location on their site.

I did, but demand is completely in the shitter.

Oh. Get a link up here it might help.  My group bought like 10 I believe.

The non-artificial fact that a quarter final and the final are both in shitty-ass Atlanta renders most all of this Bullshit

No kidding. What is the fascination with Atlanta?

Imperial March would be a no for me. Storm Troopers are notoriously bad shots, and they always lose the big battles.

We'll be the clone trooper version.  Wiped out the Geonosians (Huskers) and beat the droid army (b12) and the jedi.   /nerds!

When you live in Starkville, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Oxford, etc it’s bright lights, big city. Keep in mind the SEC is a conference of Hicksville schools.

Preach.

Username checks out. 🙌

The one time I was in Atlanta I remember the Three Dollar Cafe was pretty cool.

Good food

Plenty of TV’s and a great beer selection.

However that was about 15 years ago.

The championship game rotates, 4 quarterfinal games need to go somewhere. Newer stadium central to a region. It’s not that complicated.

This reminds me that aggy would hilariously freak-out for gameweek next year if the aggy corpsturd jackbootband was denied a parade permit for Congress Avenue by the city of Austin.  Lulz.

No shit? I had no idea.

Atlanta is boring.

I was there this summer and a guy high jacked a bus and got chased around.

That doesn’t sound boring!

I haven’t been in awhile, but I used to have to be in Atlanta a lot for business. Like every other week type shit for a few years. I got to where I would take a 6am-ish flight out and a 10pm-ish flight back on the same day if I could get away with it. It’s basically Houston or Dallas.

That said, if Texas finds itself returning on 1/20/25, I’m there celebrating the wonderment of that city.

The potential of a single fan base not named Georgia playing three games at Mercedes-Benz in a month is pretty ridiculous as evidenced by the demand for tickets to the Peach Bowl.

For real, how many times can you go see the trap music hall of fame?

I won’t try to sell Atlanta, but if you are going to the game, I can report we had good meals at Glenn’s Kitchen and Thrive for lunch and dinner, respectively, when we went to the SECCG. Both walking distance of the stadium.

I like Atlanta. Food. Bars. Greenbelt around the city.

yep. i can't swing the QF matchup, but i'm planning on going to Atlanta if/when we're in the national championship game, and i'll celebrate everything Atlanta has going on for it.

Grant the permit, but oops: was accidentally approved for Pride Day.

Fuck that. Pride is a great time. Don’t let those idiots interfere.

I traveled to Atlanta only once and I found it to be an incredibly diverse city with an incredible amount of activities and different global cultures represented.

Of course I was there in the last week of July 1996 so there may be a reason for that.

Show me one attempt at an ankle tackle in that video besides desperation dives.

All of the tackles he is breaking are above his knees.

Obviously many of you do not understand what an ankle tackle is.

Hint: It is not above the knees.

First defender there gram him anywhere…

Second attacker wrap your arms around his ANKLES.

FYI for those of you not from the deep south, "fancy restrooms" means indoors.

JFC, really? I've never heard that. Are they from rural Russia and just learning about indoor plumbing?

Oh there's no plumbing, it's just indoors.

They're about as accurate as Quinn Ewers' deep ball.

My least favorite airport and terrible drivers, that says a lot considering I live in the Houston area. Traffic there is a bitch all day long. Other than those things, I have few issues but I only go there for work.

I’m sure it is. We just flew in Saturday morning and out Sunday morning so only had time for meals around the game and a little time at the SEC fan fest next to the stadium.

This thread has far too much bitching about the location of a game we haven't even made yet.
