Dallas Fire-Rescue crews have cleared the scene downtown after a suspicious "ticking" package was found downtown Thursday, officials say.

The packaged turned out to be a computer motherboard, said Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans.

A delivery driver found the package around 12:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Bryan Street. The driver told officers that the package was making a "ticking" sound.

A DHL truck was parked on Crockett Street, but officials could not confirm whether that was the truck where the package was found.

Parts of Crockett and Leonard Streets were blocked off to traffic and pedestrians during the investigation. A Dallas Police Department Explosive Ordinance Unit truck was parked between San Jacinto and Bryan Streets.

As of 1:40 p.m., the scene was deemed "all clear."

This was right across the street from our building. Luckily I was off-site for a lunch meeting -- otherwise this would've hit really close to home on this.

Modern bombs don't tick, they vibrate.

My fault.  I ordered a coo-coo clock and a motherboard from Amazon and requested they be mailed in a single package.

My bad.

Saw the initial report but now I can't find anything.  What was the final result?
