So. OU, Tech and aggy all lost their little bowl games today?  That’s a shame!

  • I can only speak for myself but I’m shattered that OU and Aggy lost. We are now part of the SEC, which is a brotherhood that transcends sports. It’s more than a football conference. It’s a shared cult

Not that it matters, but I think it's the right thing to eat the delay of game and save the timeout.  Whether you are at the two yard line or the seven yard line with 12 seconds left, you get to run two plays.  Two passes into the endzone.  It does not matter as much if they come from the two yard line or seven.  Any run play is high, high risk even if you only need two yards.  So eat the delay because a tackle in bounds at any point needs the time out for the FG kick.

A&M just gave up a 17 point lead to a QB who has no idea what he's doing. Then the other team's defense hands them the lead again by playing semi-prevent with a 4 point lead and over 3 minutes left and they let that guy do it again.

Yes that was correct. Being in the position to have it called by subbing in that situation was the idiotic part.

Embarrassing loss for aggy.

They were missing players too but not nearly as many as USC and this was a 6-6 team. This is a game you should win by double digits if your coaching staff was decent.

aggy about to finish 5-5 against P4 competition.

This is who Elko is.

Mediocre against power conference teams. His overall record is almost .500 against those type teams.

How did aggie go from running it down their throats to aggiying the most aggie game that has ever aggied in the history of aggie???

#1935

So, the aggy team to watch next year closes out the '24 season losing 4 of their last 5, with that single win being over New Mexico State.

Elko is building a juggernaut.

They were 7-1. They proceeded to lose 4 straight games against anyone with a pulse, only beating NMSU.

It probably helped more than it hurt. It kept Riley from doing something stupid like trying to run it in and wasting his final TO, only to have his stupid QB catch another tipped pass and run out the clock.

I have to say that is the worst timeout call I have ever seen a defensive team do that late....ever.  I can't honestly recall a stupider timeout in all of my football watching.
