April 4Apr 4 I’m watching Charleston on my tablet while the women’s Final Four 🏀 is on the TV and the 2nd set started with 6 straight breaks of serve before Emma held to go up 4-3.

(Not sure though.) it seems like some adjustment may have been made to make it more difficult to draw the charge. (Whether that’s in my head or not, we’re getting the shaft.)
April 5Apr 5 Anisimova pulls it out. So we have 3 Russians + Pegula in the semi-finals. Russian players are still a force in tennis, they just don't represent Russia anymore
April 5Apr 5 I'm watching the Bucharest Open and saw "Tiriac" on a screen behind one of the players. For those of you younger posters, Ion Tiriac and Ille Nastase used to be a powerhouse on the tour but especially in Davis Cup. So I googled the name and it turns out he's 85 years old and parlayed that tennis fame into becoming a billionaire. And there's someone named Iona Tiriac (not sure if it's a daughter, granddaughter, great-grandaughter or wife). I guess she hangs out in Miami a lot. Edited April 5Apr 5 by Bullneck

Top photo & Bottom Right photo look AI/computer generated. Maybe screenshots from a video game. If I were a billionaire, I would be surrounded by a lot of young ladies like that.

April 5Apr 5 Author One would think TC could find a pic from their current tourney where she's worn pink all week, but alas...
April 5Apr 5 Author This is even worse, WTA’s official site used a live pic from Amanda today spliced with an old-ass pic of SK.
April 5Apr 5 Author Ha, new shit has come to light. Appears she's alternating the green Free People shit with pink. Green yesterday against Kalinskaya, pink today.

April 6Apr 6 Author This Charleston final is awful. If you took the names away & told me it was a 250 in who-gives-a-shit-ville, I'd buy it. Edited April 6Apr 6 by shadow_operative2.0

April 9Apr 9 Alejandro Tabilo is now 2-0 lifetime vs Novak Djokavic. Straight sets: 6-3 , 6-4 6th loss of the season so far for Novak. Álcaraz beat my Argie Cerundolo in 3 sets.

April 11Apr 11 Dimitrov is having a meltdown of Luke Wilson in “The Royal Tenenbaums” proportions. Down 0-6 , 0-4 🎾30-30 Just hit a forehand winner that has the crowd thinking that he may finally hold his serve.
April 11Apr 11 Game-Set-Match 6-0 , 6-0 44 minutes It was more quiet than the funeral I will be attending this afternoon. https://www.atptour.com/en/scores/stats-centre/live/2025/410/ms005
April 11Apr 11 It’s a friend’s birthday today, so we are celebrating by immersing ourselves in the clay court season. Not too shabby.
April 14Apr 14 Author Carlito went WTA-style to win Monte Carlo earlier. 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 And the main women this week.
April 14Apr 14 With regards to the WTA’s 2025 Race rankings (how many points has each player accumulated in 2025 alone), the USA has 4 girls in the Top 10 and 7 players in the Top 20.
April 14Apr 14 This young lady won her first round match in Rouen. Some parents need to just settle on a name to avoid long names like this

Then he should have lost in 3 sets… But his opponent choked the shit out of the closing points in the 2nd & 3rd set. The other guy even won 3 more points than Ben in the match. Cojo 🇭🇷 vs Shelton 🇺🇸

April 20Apr 20 Carlitos got beat by Rune pretty straightforward. It’ll be interesting to see if the French becomes more open as a result…
April 21Apr 21 Author Svitolina over Danilovic to win Rouen. Galfi beat Volynets to win a 125. Aryna v. Jelena at 6a.
April 21Apr 21 From last week… https://www.wtatennis.com/news/4250730/hot-shot-paolini-foils-niemeier-tweener-en-route-to-stuttgart-victory I still have a crush on that little spinner, Paolini. Reminds me a bit of my little Argentine novia. Side Note: It’s strange that the WTA event in Stuttgart ended on a Monday.
April 22Apr 22 Osaka lost yet another match that she should have won. She and Bronzetti each won 99 points. Crazy that you can be winning the point race leading up to the last point and then the tying (total) point means that you lost the match. Osaka slipped and went down awkwardly and then was about 5 feet from the winning point. SIDE NOTE: Bronzetti looks like she is wearing her night guard that is made with tooth veneers… or she has an insane overbite. But something else she has that is insane is… That body of hers! DAMN !!!!! I have usually been so put off by her resting duh face that her body didn’t register with me, but HOLY SHIT her body is a wonderland.
