You're doing it completely wrong. When it's cold you stay in it so you get used to it. Every time you get out to dive back in you refreeze.

This man speaks the truth. Sit in the river, keep 2/3 of the can submerged. Once you get out, go sit in the sun and say I am done.

Bout ready for this upcoming front to arrive. Weather has been quite blah this week and is just straight nasty today. Currently 87 and muggy as hell with a feels like of 94. Ain't ready for this shit yet.

And wow, just saw that temps on Saturday night/Sunday morning are expected to drop even lower than last time I looked earlier in the week. Then the next 5-6 days after that are just about perfect April weather.

Need enough rain Friday and Saturday to wash some of this fucking pollen away.  Then I can enjoy the weather next week.

Broke the previous record of 1.5 inches of snowfall today in Amarillo.

basically snowed all day from about 5AM through 3:30PM or so.  3-5 inches of snow, which has melted on all street surfaces and such.

Weird day, but we'll damned sure take the moisture!!!

Looks like some nice, drier air should roll though after Friday's storms and make for a pleasant Spring weekend. Got a crawfish boil to attend on Sunday and I'm seeing a high of 82 with <50% humidity. That's pretty ideal. Gotta enjoy these final few weeks of highs in the 80's before 100+ straight days of blastfurnace kick in.

60 degrees and a nice light breeze at sunup on Sunday. Can't wait!

We get triple digits next week in South Texas!!!

Enjoy this final upcoming weekend of Spring. 90+ degree temps look to be a daily occurrence starting Tuesday.

Every day under 100 that we can steal from here on out is found money.

This right here.

May has been very pleasant so far and it will start pinging 90’s next week so enjoy it.

I'm about 200 miles south of you, and we only got down to the lower 60s after the line of storms came through around 5-6 am (hope y’all got some up there). The forecast calls for a low of 52 tonight in the eastern Permian.

Giddy just thinking about it and planning to keep all the windows open. That is, unless it gets too cold.

We’ve hit the rainy season here and the temps are going to really go down. I may see some high temperatures in the 70’s soon. It’s hard living in a place that gets so cold like this.

This last week has been awesome.  All my windows went up and patio door open on Tuesday.  Excited to do the same again come Sunday.  Yes, it feels great but I can almost FEEL the money staying in my pocket when it's cool out.

Yeah, but those savings go right out the door to buy chili ingredients.

Can’t wait for the first annual “turn on my heaters and ask what’s that smell” cold front.

Might get there at the end of this weekend. Supposed to get down close to 40 late Sunday/early Monday.

A worthwhile expense!

Why would you turn on your heater when it’s going to be 80 next week?
Fuck that.

Most thermostats these days can go from heat to cool with a click of a button. It’s pretty neat!

Fuck that.

For the same reason that I am going to eat food today even though I will also eat some next week.

This “cold front” is really just normal weather for a few days until it goes back to summer in November.

Shit’s cold yo

35 here in Dallas this AM. It will be 80 on Thursday.
