It’s been sub 30 below for three weeks. Bottomed out at 49 below yesterday. I’m assuming some of this cold air will get down to y’all eventually.

Been just nasty since Saturday afternoon and now we're looking at 6 straight days of this 20-degrees-above-average bullshit ahead. Not gonna cool back down until Sunday afternoon.

Absolute horseshit to have this weather in late December. Was thinking about running up to my deer lease after Xmas, but there's currently a high of 80 with 78% humidity forecast for both Friday and Saturday. Pass.

When the histrorical average high temp for the week is lower than the forecasted low temp for the week you know there is a problem.

Dallas average high temps for last week in Dec mid 50s. Average low temps for next week low to mid 60s. And we are a good 25-30 degrees above normal for our highs. Our planet is fucked until humans cease to exist. No other way around it.

This shit is not normal. But it’s times like this I’m thankful for the steady hand of the regime to come up with concepts of solutions

Normal is a dynamic term now.

La Nina, you ignorant slut.

We're at 38F right now 300 miles northwest of you, but getting some light flurries nonetheless. Nothing's sticking, though. The forecast calls for 76F this Friday. Weird shit.

Counterpoint, I did not have “having to mow the yard in January” on my bingo card. But here we are.

Goats, they work for free. The answer is goats.

A yard across the green belt from ours (we have some steep/canyon topography in the area, some of it hard to maintain by hand) has goats come in every month or so to maintain it. It's pretty wild, sitting out on our back deck and listening to the baaas and such from a herd of goats 75 yards away, but it seems to work.
