You're a known poster of bullshit. You wake up at 8AM Moscow time and spam the board with hate from "January 6th political prisoners" and get butthurt when called out on posting propaganda as perfect

Citing Rod Blagojevich’s thoughts as expressed to Joe Rogan is possibly the most insane way I’ve ever seen someone argue against the U.S. justice system.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Just hours after ringing in the New Year, tragedy has struck in the heart of New Orleans’s most prominent tourist center.

Around 3 a.m., the NOPD says a suspect in a pickup truck slammed into a crowd of people in the area of Bourbon Street and Canal Street before opening fire at police officers.

“This was not a DUI situation,” NOPD Chief Anne Kirkpatrick said. “This was intentional.”

Bourbon street is closed today.

Maximum Security for the route to Superdome this evening.

Ford Lightning. Don't they weigh 2,000 - 3,000 more than a regular F150?

Terrible. Screenshot_20250101-080314.jpg

Awful news from one of my favorite cities. I’ve always wondered why they don’t block Bourbon to traffic at night.

#11

News says the guy drove around or through barricades, shot two cops.  No word on how he ended up.  Tears in my eyes for everyone involved.

Now see driver killed by officers.  Good riddance

You bet they will now.

Daughter and wife were supposed to be there with another friend and mom for the Sugar Bowl. They ended up canceling this weekend and coming back here to hang out with her friends from home. She’s up trying to check in with everyone she knows that was there for the game. Pretty terrible deal.

Uh I thought they do? Says the driver drove through barricades.

#22

Local caller on the news claimed they didn't have the normal hardened barricades up and they just had the plastic traffic barricades.

This just makes me sick. What a shit way to start 25. Fuck.

Have we ruled out another Georgia football player being a shitty driver?

Mayor says it was a terror attack, FBI says it wasn’t. What’s the definition?

Since Luigi is getting charged with a terror attack, I can only assume it’s the net worth of the victims

Usually terrorism requires destruction or killing for political aims.  Until some motive is developed, FBI isn't going to classify as terrorism.

If IED’s were also found on the truck, which some reports are saying….then it’s most certainly going to be labeled terrorism.

and yep… unless that’s doctored that’s a Mac Haik logo on the tailgate

Idk but it doesn't make much of a difference. Senseless violence either way.

If he bought a truck at Mac Haik, definitely.

Could be a lease.

Guardian saying terrorism.

FBI now says event an 'act of terrorism'

Following confusion from different branches of the authorities who’ve been discussing the fatal attack on the public in New Orleans in the early hours of New Year’s Day, there is now a clearer line.

The FBI has just said it is investigating the tragedy “as an act of terrorism”, Reuters now reports.

Also, several media outlets and local political leaders are saying the suspect in the attack is dead. We’ll bring you more details as they emerge and are confirmed.

The FBI agent said in her statement that an explosive device was found in the truck, no details given.

Law enforcement may have done that to prevent wacko revenge attacks.

True. Also possible the asshole driver did it to hide it pre-attack and just forgot to unwind it

The truck was also purchased at the Mac Haik in Pasadena

#BreakingNews: The Pasadena Police Department (TX) is involved in the investigation of pickup truck that drove into a crowd celebrating New Year's Eve on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA. The truck has Texas license plates, according to law enforcement sources. @KPRC2

Another board posting saying the suspect/truck came across the border at Eagle Pass two days ago. This is possibly Fox News info so take it for what it is worth

Sounding like the truck was rented using Turo

Folks got the LP and linked it back to here.   https://turo.com/us/en/truck-rental/united-states/houston-tx/ford/f-150-lightning/2775067

UPDATE: We have confirmed the truck used in the NOLA attack was a @turo rental. The man who listed it lives in Houston and has already been contacted by federal investigators. https://t.co/UetBriIQDo
