January 27Jan 27 Just now, troph said: Because our thermostat is at 68 and I’m cold. Hehehe, you don't know me from the heat thread. I keep the thermostat at 65 during the day in winter. 60 at night. If you are cold put on a damn sweater. Summer, day set at 82-85. Night at 78. If hot take off the damn sweater.

January 30Jan 30 My gauge says 3 inches in Hewitt. I think there may be a crack in it because it feels like a lot more. Best rain we've had in I months.

That rain during school dropoff was incredible. However, nothing like driving one of my kids to school during a total downpour and counting 6 cars with no lights on. Fucking imbeciles.
January 30Jan 30 One inch + in Cedar Park/78613. Really enjoying cleaning my dogs paws each time she has to piss/shit bc the mud is just soooooooo mesmerizing to her.

The way it is now, I usually have the backdoor open so the dogs can come and go. Feels fantastic.

No open door today so the little shits don't bring in mud, but the window next to my desk is.

A little grandma magic - keep the doors open as much as you can when it's cooler to air out the house, improve the air quality, and freshen things out. They need to bring back the screen door.
