Should we pin this thread to the top of the board?

Or maybe the bottom.

It’s going to be a wet week for some parts of Texas.

Nice soft rain. Got all the plants out that can handle under 50 degrees. Fuck yeah. Windows open so I can hear it just coming on down.

South Austin?

South Austin's mom is always wet from what I read.

We've been slammed by 0.14" since 11 PM.  The drought is over!

I bet your wife is pissed at you unless she is in menopause or is an Eskimo.

Why? She gets under the covers and snuggles. Dogs get at the foot of the bed. All is good.

Because our thermostat is at 68 and I’m cold.

Hehehe, you don't know me from the heat thread. I keep the thermostat at 65 during the day in winter. 60 at night. If you are cold put on a damn sweater.

Summer, day set at 82-85. Night at 78. If hot take off the damn sweater.

I’ve seen those comments. I have on leggings, socks, uggs, long sleeve knit shirt and a sweater.

Do some jumping jacks. Make a tea. I recommend hibiscus with eucalyptus and honey.

Like I said, your wife is in menopause, an Eskimo or maybe you have a 10 … oh wait, nevermind I think I figured it out.

And I cook.

Couldn't even see if HEB was open or not with all the mist.

Enjoy it because that’s probably all we’re getting down here while DFW/north TX flood again.

Yuge soaking in Central Austin. We need this.

Not when I’m taking my kids to school.

My gauge says 3 inches in Hewitt. I think there may be a crack in it because it feels like a lot more.  Best rain we've had in I months.

That's what she said

There's frequent soakings in South Austin.

No joke.  That rain during school dropoff was incredible.  However, nothing like driving one of my kids to school during a total downpour and counting 6 cars with no lights on.  Fucking imbeciles.

Looks like ~ 1.3" in near west Austin, clearing up.  I'll take it.

One inch + in Cedar Park/78613.

Really enjoying cleaning my dogs paws each time she has to piss/shit bc the mud is just soooooooo mesmerizing to her.

This is the way.  Hell, during snow-pocalypse and we had intermittent power (45 min one, 2 hour off) I slept in a t-shirt and sweat pants.  The way it is now, I usually have the backdoor open so the dogs can come and go.  Feels fantastic.

Yep, and I fucking hate the cold. But I like fresh air. No open door today so the little shits don't bring in mud, but the window next to my desk is.

A little grandma magic - keep the doors open as much as you can when it's cooler to air out the house, improve the air quality, and freshen things out.  They need to bring back the screen door.

Who got rid of it? This wasn’t something that went extinct like the duck-billed platypus.

Just go buy one and install it.
