I got my boy out from La Junta. As far as I can tell the whole camp got to high ground well in advance of the bad stuff and watched the camp get obliterated. My son is 8 and they took the younger kids

Goddamn molds kicking my ass this week.  This rain better wash this shit out of the air.

Strong for the highland lakes, though. Llano ends up in Travis (LBJ and Marble Falls are pass-through lakes).

This some weak shit. Better be some more development out west or this is going to be < 0.25" for me.

(That's what she said!)

Inks has been lowered the past month or so to allow owners to work on their docks and whatnot. No clue how much they'll need to release from Buchanan to fill it back up, but I'd assume the water coming down the San Saba will do it.

More on Monday apparently.

We are not your wife, so we are not falling for your empty promises of inches that never arrive.

Woke up to rain in 77406 (far west burbs of Houston). It’s not heavy, but it’s rain.

It's never going to rain again in Austin.  We have had less than 3"in in the last 3 mos! (that's what she said)

Clearly Austin is married...

Shit, I thought we were in the middle of a monsoon last night.  60 MPH winds out of the south along with some decent downpours, beating the hell out of the front of the house for a good 30-45 minutes.  Need to assess later today, but we may be down some inflatables.

It’s been wet and foggy all day and night. Maybe not so much measurable rain, but the plants should like it at least. Didn’t see this in the forecast, but I’ll take it.

In other news, Zack Shields on Fox 7 said we are something like 4 feet below average over the past several years combined. Yay.

Yay… time to build more data centers I suppose!

It's not like anyone was actually enjoying the greenbelt when there was water flowing.

Or, maybe Zacky S. didn't consider we were just inches over our average annually for the last 150 years prior?
