I got my boy out from La Junta. As far as I can tell the whole camp got to high ground well in advance of the bad stuff and watched the camp get obliterated. My son is 8 and they took the younger kids

Your roof leaking again?

3.50 inches, with lots of lightning and thunder. This one didn't mess around.

0.15" in NW Travis.  But after 1.5" Monday night, I can't complain.

This is soil moisture.  That black line is the drainage basin for the highland lakes.  Green on one side, red on the other. It is like the rain knows the stop EXACTLY where to stop to ensure our lakes don't get water.

Totally... I hate watching the rains just pooooour in areas like Lampasas and Round Rock knowing not a lick of it will go in the lakes.

On a side note, is the Pedernales the most worthless tributary to the highland lakes?  Oh... look at all that rain!  "Here's your 120 cfs"

Outside Liberty 🗽 Hill right now but I guess radar don’t care. Between Liberty Hill and Georgetown close to 29. Hard to gage the distance.

So drowning dudes in Town Lake is no longer enough for Nicole?  Now she has learned to conjure death from the skies?

Yeah I’ve been working on summoning lightning. ️ Lake drownings are boring af. Summoning severe weather = fear and respect 😃

If that doesn't do it, she's determined to kill a few folks by taking photos on her phone while driving.

She's just looking for a new way to dispose of the bodies. Toss them in the path of a tornado.

That method was in an episode of Criminal Minds. 🌪️ I am open to any and all suggestions. Maybe even a Ferris wheel 🎡 type of thing where I sneak out like a ninja and no one can figure out how I did it.

Be dear and become a 21st-century Pied Piper for us by training an AI to hack into Cybertuck programming to lead them and their techbro drivers off the Pennybacker Bridge.

It's the perfect crime. Nobody would even investigate it. Cybertrucks fall off bridges because of course Cybertrucks would fall off bridges.

Oh geez they're calling for large to massive hail in Austin and the northern suburbs around 7. Destructive is the word they're using.

If ever there was a time for a forcefield.

Looks like 7-8 will be when shit hits the fan, if it’s going to.

So in preparation for Monday’s storm ⛈️ I moved a bunch of cool Mexican pottery (Talavera planters and whatnot) off the patio in case there was hail. I spent the morning putting it all back. So I figure I will get big ass hail.

Pouring in my neck of Leander but thankfully no hail.

Westlake hills near Rosedale has rotation.
arboretum getting fucked up.

What the actual fuck just happened in Cedar Park?  I said god damn, god damn...

there’s a small twister on valburn in nw hills with baseball size hail, wtf

East of downtown not sure if that’s rotation or what’s happening. North Shoal Creek and 183/35 headed to Mueller. That’s where it’s completely fucked.

Up to 2" hail and sideways rain in NW Travis between CP and the lake, about 20 minutes ago.   No damage though.  Sunny skies now.

Looks like it's headed to Domain/Q2 where the soccer game is supposed to begin at 7:30.

I got out of the Uber at Paramount and it completely opened up. Raining sideways down Congress. My wife is stuck at Cedar Door. I guess I’ll be seeing Best In Show alone.

It's moving really quick if that's any consolation.  Only about 12-15 minutes for the worst of it and 20-25 minutes of rain.
