I got my boy out from La Junta. As far as I can tell the whole camp got to high ground well in advance of the bad stuff and watched the camp get obliterated. My son is 8 and they took the younger kids

The water went up the ramp?

Designed by Aggies, the door is below street level. On a steep hill. That curb was doing its best for 100 years.

Been pouring for an hour and half in Alamo Heights. Looks to be pushing up to the Hill Country and Austin

Wrong!  Looks to be evaporating before the hill country and Austin.  Glad to be wrong.

Can’t share the active radar but sure looks like it’s not breaking up

The ability to forecast rain is insignificant next to the power of the Force... Field.

My reverse jinx worked!  Raining hard in south Austin!

It's never going to rain, is it?

Not at my house in NW Travis anyway.  Not a single drop.

As soon as that wave of showers got to the north side of Austin it evaporated and retreated.

Love the rain in Houston. Gave me an excuse to skip a vendor event at the Houston Open today.

I’m hoping for some big downpours to wash this damn pollen away.

A nice steady 30+ hour soaking is just what the doctor ordered. My landscaping is just starting to come back to life after the winter die off and lawn is finally waking up from hibernation. Sprinklers get to catch a nice break this weekend.

Valley guys you okay? Just saw a tornado warning for a pretty high population area

Been slow and steady in Round Rock. Much needed.

Congrats on the extended nooner.

Little over 1.5” since last night. Puts me at about 3” for the past week. This has been a pleasant surprise!

Finally got a little at my place.  0.4" is better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Tornado is the least of their worries tonight. Damn, if that apocalyptic shit down there had made it up to the Hill Country somehow, it might have put a huge dent in this drought. Oh well, not gonna complain about rain…you Austin guys got fucked though.

Seeing 48 hr totals maxing out at 17+ inches of rainfall just north of Harlingen. Will easily break 20 inches. Makes our little 1-3” event in Comal Co seem like a joke.

Yeah, Harlingen and the valley are under water. Never experienced this much rain outside of a hurricane, it just keeps coming down, band after band. Going to be depressing seeing the carnage when the sun comes out in the morning, cars flooded on the roads all over the valley and homes and business flooded as well.

A tornado did touch down this afternoon on in the Elsa area, just seemed to do damage, no deaths.

Looks like most of the state should get some more showers Friday/Saturday ahead of a late-season cold front pushing through over the weekend. Seeing highs in the 60's, lows in the 40's Sunday and Monday.

Got about an inch of rain spread over the past two nights out here in the wastelands.

Just checked the forecast for this weekend and was NOT expecting to see this.

Keeps getting pushed back, but I’ve got “strong storms” around 2am now.

Big hail north of Uvalde.Heading NNE. Send your pool floats to Texarkana. Pretty big flooding.

Third night of rain in a row. Tonight's been much heavier, especially this last round. It's been coming in waves for the last 2-3 hours.

Glorious. Hopefully, it gets down to you guys soon but not too soon. I want to keep.hooging it for another day or so. Runoff goes into the Colorado River Basin anyway.
