1.28 inches since early evening yesterday in the Panhandle.  Much appreciated.

Forecast still insists that it will end with an inch of  snow mid morning.  We'll see...

So they just have to pay for all the repairs out of pocket? Pretty sure insurance won't cover that, even if they did actually make the cleanup lost costly.

No idea, but it seems like a major pain in the ass to have to undergo that process multiple times over the years. Must be a profitable place to put up with all that bullshit.

I'm seeing a lot of future forecasts saying that all of Texas will get a lot of shit at the end of April. Not buying it.

I have a camping trip planned then so yeah it's going to rain hard, and temps will be in the 40s.

Stop it. You're such a tease, AHB.

Thank you for doing your part.  Can you also leave your rain fly, rain jacket and tarps at home?

But absolutely jack shit until then. Every single day in the 15-day is warm and sunny.

It's coming. Lots of lightning with this one.

Rainfall intensity is 3.35 inches per hour right now.

Y'all can thank me for this rain. Landscapers are scheduled to begin our backyard renovation on Monday. Looks like this week's forecast ain't gonna cooperate.

You must have pissed somebody off.  We're having some yard flooding near 360/2222 (0.17").

Thunder all damn night, freaking the dogs out, pissing me off, and hardly a trace of rain to show for it

Nice rain in 666. Gardens got what they needed and  looks like i don't have to water for a bit.

Planted a few raised beds yesterday so the timing was spot on. Even @NorthLoop got rain I think.

Sorry for those who did not.

Watched a ‘nader go from left to right about 2 miles behind those trees around 10:50 last night. The rain was nice. I can do without the rest.

I did indeed. My rain guage is cracked so not sure how much I got but guessing an inch.

Hey remember how it was supposed to rain today (and all week supposedly)?

About that....

It looks like things are kicking off in Far West Texas, near Fort Stockton and northern Coahuila, just west of Del Rio.

It rained at 9 inches yesterday near my hood.   It rained all day throughout the fishbowl that is Metro New Orleans.

It took me two hours of waiting for standing flood water to recede off streets until I could finally make it home.  That rain stuff, I wish we could give you some of ours.

That's the 5th line in my soon-to-be smash hit song.  It also involves the hero getting into a running gunfight over a misunderstanding involving a raven-haired beauty with green eyes as well as the ownership of a certain cantankerous burro, and has a great line in it about skinny dipping with said raven-haired beauty in Balmorhea springs to cool off after the sun went down, leaving just enough light from the fingernail moon to let me know what pleasures awaited when we got out.

I'd listen to the fuck out of that.

With storms like this you know some trailer somewhere is doomed.

Reed Timmer and crew are driving through Fort Stockton. Pretty good street flooding is going on, and hail is on the ground after the storm went through. They're heading toward a storm with a hook echo.

I fell in love with MFC Danger Girl….

Nighttime would find me in French Quarter bistros…

Music would play as she stabbed and she hurled…

Central Austin getting pounded right now… hope we can spread some of this out over the next couple days!

Severe thunderstorm watch just popped up on tv. Radar shows nothing. What the hell is going on?

They issue that too late for the cell that just passed over downtown? Or are they expecting em to keep popping up?

That shit was crazy in RR. 20+mph wind, small hail, 3/4 inch of rain all for about 15 minutes then it was all gone.

0.5 inch in 78757 over 30 minutes. Most of it just ends up as runoff

Dry line ftw!

Dry line gave a good shove, and the big stuff is on its way later tonight (if it holds together).

Need this next week to be more rainy than not. In case we are in for another summer of hell. Feels like we are due for a Memorial Weekend flood event, no?

Chances of rain in the forecast every single day for the next 2 weeks.

Well it came down like a cow pissing off a tall cliff on to a flat rock in Wiseco. Got home a few minutes ago and the culvert under my driveway was blocked creating a smallish lake that was spreading on the highway. It was at least chest deep in the ditch and the road leans my way so it was only getting larger. Grabbed a sharpshooter and fished around a few times until it unclogged. Looked like I opened a dam coming out the other end. Watching the whirlpool was satisfying until I remembered it was still raining and I was getting soaked.

Absolutely dumping rain in Waco right now.  Like 2-3in/hr rate...at a minimum.
