That was the most entertaining game I’ve watched in years.  Obviously I wanted the Big 12 squad to prevail, but I think they did enough to prove we should be included which is really all I cared about

Surprised they didn’t go for it. Giftwrapped them a drive with two penalties and they went conservative as a 13.5 dog. If we had been smart and set up a return, we’d be up 7.

Blackwell should have blocked that, no fucking clue why he tried to avoid the punter. If you get the block there is no roughing.

Or just don’t and get the ball back because it’s the first drive of the game.

Fucking huge holding by 85 on that 3rd down

They’ve held every passing down. No calls.

I mean at this point, just formally rewrite the rule book to make holding legal. It’s probably the most capriciously enforced rule in all of sports.

They only got 3-0 from those two penalties. Enough fucking around.

these three points are on Jeff Banks

Not really Banks fault that Blackwell actively decided to avoid the ball/leg. Although pretty much every time we go after a punt, it results in a penalty, so maybe it is on Banks.

we literally give them 3 points on stupidity.

We do stupid shit every game. Hope we got it out the way now

We are the favorite the block kick call was another dumb call. Just beat their asses straight up.

FG doesn’t upset me too much. The dumb mistakes do though.

Bad start on ST and D.

D gave up 27 yards on 3.3 yards per play. Not a disaster…

no reason to call the punt block.  just get the ball.  3 free points.

Allright pussies, this ASU team ain’t got shit for us.  We’re going to dismantle them and this thread will turn happy again.

How is it Banks's fault when the punt rush plan works perfectly then the player completely whiffs on an easy block?

Yep.  I'll never understand how a Top 5 defense can get so few holding calls.

After what I saw, hard to argue lol

Jesse Palmer is almost Tim Brando bad.

He is lazy and doesn’t actually prep for the games anymore.

he was better when he tried.

But add him to Tess and the raging boner every game for an upset and they have easily become maybe the worst ‘big game’ crews out there

Not on the “facemask”. He palmed his head.

Fingers were around the helmet it was a FM

Banks called for block to dig himself out of hole.  It backfired.

Lolwut

He drew up and called a perfect block and Blackwell fucked it up.

some may say that a coach is ultimately bottom-line responsible when players fuck up egregiously like that.

Sark loves to get cute for no reason. He does it every game. Terrible situational awareness.

He grabbed the inside of the top of his helmet you might need to check your eyesight.

I blame their poor skills on the staff whose job it is for their skills not to be poor

He’s the fucking special teams coach. All he has to do is tell Bolden to stop that shit or hes gonna get benched. But hes actually ok with, so he doesn’t stop it.

Why would he stop it. It makes me nervous too, but I don’t recall him muffing one this year. He’s a dangerous return man who has shown he can catch anything, no matter how crazy. Results over vibes.

Missed some crazy holds by ASU's O-line on 2nd and 3rd down.

Better call it both ways refs.

I’m sure we get holding right here

If we get a holding penalty on this drive, Sark better get a 15 yarder.

Got 2 stops on their first drive, including suffering a bullshit face mask penalty where he grabbed the top of the helmet above the face mask.

That first drive showed their receivers can't get separation on our DBs, even single covered.
