To stay on topic: ASU must’ve read all the Surly pregame trash talk and papered their locker room with it. I feel a lot better now. The groin was a little tender for a few days, but the heart is steady. I haven’t had any signs of atrial fibrillation since. I had the procedure on December 18, and I am back to working out. If you do it, I would recommend pulsed field ablation over other techniques. To keep it football related the bruise on my leg and groin was about the size of a youth football.

I’m a fan of Kenny D and what he’s building there. HC isn’t even 35 yet. Go Sparky for their future years in the B12. Hook’em!!! Kid is absolutely legit. Wish we had him. Dude is an absolute baller.

Respect from this Longhorn fan. if they add the right pieces around that qb. they'll be a very dangerous team next year. preseason top 5 for sure

Yeah, they were pretty even until Quinn's last 3 throws were a pair of touchdowns and a 2-pt conversion and Leavitt's last throw was a pick that ended their season. Leavitt was right in a way -- he did show us who the better quarterback is. It just isn't him.

January 2Jan 2 Quinn would have been sacked an absurd number of times if he had been in Leavitt’s shoes. Dude was absurdly slipperyQuinn is still injured by my guess. He isn’t rolling out of the pocket much and buying time like he used to. But he is healthy enough to play and win playoff games with a patchwork line and no running game and a coach who has as many WTF moments as Bert.

January 2Jan 2 Quinn’s dime of the game was the TD to Helm on the second OT that almost nobody saw. He steps up in pocket and slings it in step. Beauty.
January 2Jan 2 I'm wondering why it took so long to get Helm involved. I liked 4's game until it was clear his bell was continuously ringing. That dude should have been in the locker room. Still, crazy game -- ran it, caught it, threw it.

I mean... or his two throws on that first drive. Or the 4th and 13 conversion in 1OT. There's a wonderful book I read decades ago with a great quote in it. In the context of the book, the son had unmoored their skiff before they had gotten into it, leading to him needing to jump into it from the docks, yell at his dad for the oars, and then get it back from there so they could make it back to their ship -- high-fives all around! They were so happy to have saved the day that they forgot the dumb things they'd done to get into that position in the first place. "If you do lots of stupid things, you get to be a hero." I feel this describes our offense's play to a T.
January 2Jan 2 Even when fully healthy he was never a greased-pig level slippery like Leavitt was today. He’s always relied more on getting the ball out quickly than running in circles behind the lineHe never was particularly fast, but he was much more mobile and capable of throwing on the move. This seems to have limited him quite a bit.

I think he will be where he’s at for a good long time. It’s always been home for him and he now is going to get the support he needs to get some talent upgrades. I said it a few days ago, but sometimes coaches and schools meet at exactly the right time. I believe this is one of those instances. I was honestly not expecting much from this game and thought the moment might be too big, but Dillingham stayed the course and Skattebo had himself a game. Hopefully it portends good things going into next season.

And with a few assists from bad calls: kicker penalty wasn't one missed calls: (approximately 314 missed holding calls), OL pulling Skattebo into the end zone, blatant targeting missed on Bond, and linemen way down field when Leavitt was running like a decapitated chicken
January 2Jan 2 Popular Post I love how ASU knob slobbers completely ignore all the holding they were allowed to engage in. And don't even get me started on the shirt pull PI that wasn't called on them which would have been a TD. Right down the sideline and right in front of the ref who swallowed his whistle. Reply showed it clear as day and there's zero chance it wasn't seen. None.
January 2Jan 2 Ohio State fans online stated their opponents had 0 holding calls all year against them prior to last night. So it seems like this is a systemic b10 issue.
