January 2Jan 2 ASU put up a great fight. Skattebo was a warrior, as unlikable as he is. His camera antics after his TD in OT was embarrassing. Although it never should have come to it, beating them the way we did was very satisfying. Ripping their hearts out on that 4 and 13 was epic.

No holding? More PI? Adjust accordingly then. God I hope we don't get Mar'd

And don't even get me started on the shirt pull PI that wasn't called on them which would have been a TD. Right down the sideline and right in front of the ref who swallowed his whistle. Reply showed it clear as day and there's zero chance it wasn't seen. None. No way, dude. It's totally normal for a QB to scramble around, change direction 3 times, and keep a play alive for 10 seconds without a single hold on his offensive line.

January 2Jan 2 Skattebo is real easy to hate. That fucking halfback pass was only completed because it was such a duck The db was stride for stride with the wr, but the ball was badly underthrown towards the middle of the field. There wasn't a way for the db to make a play on it without committing a PI. Edited January 2Jan 2 by kevwun

Fuck them and their douchebag coach and RB. All their dorky fans throwing up that 3 finger sign I had to see all day in crowd shots. Winning was fun but seeing it ripped from their hearts after their miraculous comeback and one 4th and 13 from going to the semis. 3 plays later, they are now down 8. Then throw a pick and lose. Their RB crying at the end. Later bitch. The better team won.

You see, the college football "analysts" don't actually watch games or know what they are talking about beyond the food quality in the booth. But they make their money driving clicks and creating controversy as much as possible wherever they can. So they will ignore the actual targeting, the bullshit spot/first down, the egregious holding, the illegal man downfield, sideline interference, OPI/DPI, pulling a player forwards, because it doesn't drive the point home to call B10 officials out for their fuckery, but they will instead latch on to some meaningless iffy play that was actually correctly called and try to argue about that incessantly for the next week because bullshit sells (e.g. essential oils). Calling out officiating for being corrupt or incompetent doesn't really generate the clicks like the insinuation that an undeserving team advanced. Note, these assholes were ready to shit all over Indiana for winning games and earning a spot, in favor of teams who lost multiple games and didn't, until those teams demonstrated why they were unworthy. Any of those assholes want to say that Bama/SCAR should be in the CFP today?

January 2Jan 2 how asu qb scrambled and ran in circles I find it hard to believe there was no holding or man downfield. it was maddening. and muhammmed lost that ball in the air cause it was a terrible throw. that's why he made no play. tell you the truth I fell better against Ohio state since I figured asu was gonna go with gimmick plays at all times. Ohio st might play a lil more straight up no worry of a bunch of trick plays. let the best man win. no more stat talk its the final four and we need 2 more baby.

January 2Jan 2 I’m gonna get killed for this but I really think the Skattebo hype is way overblown. Got damn near shut down for three quarters. Passing TD on a gimmicky trick play where Muhammad looked lost. Got carried over the endzone on one of his TDs. The catch he had was legit but other than that he was pretty average
January 2Jan 2 Props to Dillingham for the job he's done. Good on ASU for trying to keep him locked up as long as they can. Hopefully they put a huge buyout in his extension to at least benefit when a desperate school comes looking.

Maybe, but CFP wasn't calling y'all's bullshit offensive plays after the first 2 drives of the game either. Texas kept ASU in the game.
January 2Jan 2 Author Skattebo made multiple huge plays, had an undeniable stat line, and took his team from a statistical 99.9% loss chance to a statistical 91.2% win chance. Let's give credit where it's due. You don't have to like his persona, but I can't understand how anyone could objectively see what he did and not respect it. Hats off to him, and I wish our RBs ran as hard as he does.

They are truly amazing. Lmao at Texas buying the refs in a game where they refused to call ASU for holding or PI. I can't count how many times we got guys rushing free to their QB and were blatantly held to slow their progress. This allowed him to scramble around and extend the play. Sometimes it paid off, many times it didn't but the hold stopped a huge loss from happening, which drastically change a drive. Allowing their OL to throw their RB into the endzone. We stop them on the tying 2pt play but they call a flag on us, but ignored all the holds to keep the QB running around. And there was lineman down field that should have been called. Nope, we get the flag and they convert the next play to tie. Also, a blatant hold that kept us from scoring a TD earlier in the game. All of that is ignored and they point to one single potential targeting play that wasn't ever called on the field and refs didn't decide to call it. It's not like it was called on the field and reversed. They didn't think it was in real time or replay speed. And it wasn't. Nothing about it was targeting to me. About the one time the refs got it right.
