I’m serious when I say I hope he enjoys every play and makes plenty of loot, because he is definitely going to be CTE central in retirement. Going to be?

October 10Oct 10 He's like a battering ram. At least he's learned to quit lowering his head as he tries to run through people. That'll fuck your neck up.

October 10Oct 10 My point is more about a 5'10" dude going at about 225 taking on guys who are 6'5", 260 with a running start in pass pro; and some folks seem bewildered he doesn't talk like he's getting ready for a UIL prose competition. Yeah, his mindset, by the very foundation, is gonna be a little off.

Yeah, his mindset, by the very foundation, is gonna be a little off. “Being a 5’6” dude…” FIFY (slim possibility that he is 5’6.5” to 5’7”) PS- His combine height was 5’9.5”, but he must have been on the same traction machine that Kyler Murray used, because… ”AIN’T NO WAY THAT THAT BOY IS 5’9.5”!” Edited October 10Oct 10 by Napoleon
October 10Oct 10 He Loves playing football more than anything period. Ran repeatedly into telephone poles as a kid to get “contact.” He has more finesse than most people give him credit for—not just a bowling ball, although he is that. It’s more than just angry running. He is a short yard specialist. His running mentality seems to be: they can’t tackle me if I truck them. I loved watching the tush push Eagles have no answer for him. So for him, the future Consequences of punishing his body right now be damned. Fuck it. He’s playing like there is not a tomorrow. Or a next year. Lay it all out on the table now. He’d rather run with the gods for two or three years.
October 10Oct 10 I’m a fan. Enjoy it while it lasts though. That level of physicality at RB has maybe a 5 year shelf life. Hope he at least gets to a big second contract.
October 10Oct 10 Looking at our fragile RBs, I fucking wish we had a monster like him to bail the offense out and take some pressure off of Arch this season.
October 10Oct 10 Skat's performance against us last year is one of the best individual performances I have seen in college football. Dude leaves it all on the field, and scrapped his way up to FBS from Sacramento State. Crazy to think that in the era of 7th graders being scouted and offered, eight-figure NIL deals, and megaconferences, you can still have Rudy-type stories where a dude is just too persistent to be denied. Now he's producing in the NFL. How can you not love that?

October 10Oct 10 my fantasy football opponent this week has Scat starting against me, so I'm not a fan

Just trying to make you feel better. I don’t know shit about Denver’s run D this year. (My reading comprehension sucks…was thinking ahead to next week.) I will say I will take ten guys with his heart and passion and spark and evenly disperse them on our coaching staff, offense and defense. He ignites something. Watching him and Dart joke around like they were long lost brothers who just found each other 5 weeks ago is awesome. I love seeing passion. I don’t care for the Giants but that was the most fun I’ve had watching any football game CFB or NFL all season. Something about energy and pure love for the game between Dart and Skattebo was contagious. Even if it doesn’t last. That was fucking fun. Edited October 10Oct 10 by Nicole44

I believe he meant this current week, as in yesterday's 3 TD performance. That's what I meant, at least. Already 29 points in the hole going into Sunday. Edited October 10Oct 10 by MuellerHorn

People were saying last night he plays the position like a 1970’s full back who is really a line backer. if people want to watch and have NFL Network they are replaying the game 2-5 pm CST. The second half is pure joy. I wish I could bottle that and save it.
October 10Oct 10 If you don’t like watching this kid play then I question if you like football at all.
October 10Oct 10 He's the guy NYC has been yearning for since Lenny Dykstra rode off into the sunset.

October 10Oct 10 He's living his best life right now. Clearly loves football and probably a great teammate. NFC East hasn't had to contend with a good NYG in like 18 years, would be interesting to see if he can string some of these games together and have a good season and career, if so, NYG might have won the 2025 draft with Dart and Skatteboo.
October 10Oct 10 I thought of Barber earlier, but he was bigger. He managed 5 seasons before it really caught up to him.

Yeah that would be something. I’d watch them the rest of the year if they can pull off what they did last night. That was so much fun. 1 hour ago, 956 Worldwide said: If you don’t like watching this kid play then I question if you like football at all. He reminded me last night of why I love football. Sports movies. That whole one guy who just is so fucking honored to be there and has the skills to back it up. Pure joy to watch. The second half of that game it’s like his whole energy infected the entire team. He laid it all out there and drug the rest of the team to that same place. Inspiring to watch. Hope they can repeat. This is a story we all kinda need. To be transported to a place of pure joy is something else.
October 10Oct 10 I reluctantly drafted him in my fantasy league as the best player available at the time, and his three TDs last night as my No. 2 back was nice. But I don't have a boner for the guy like a lot of folks on this thread.
