I don't take my dogs w/ my while running errands.  I wish people w/ kids would extend the same courtesy.

Unruly kids are my pet peeve.  There are some shitty-ass parents around.

People that take their kids into the store either enjoy shopping in person or they’re shitty planners.

HEB Curbside + Target Curbside should cover almost everything except booze.

Red wine gives me allergies, so I never have it. And from a medical and humanitarian perspective, I would think that it is a bad idea to try to convince someone who wants to quit that moderation is okay (a glass of wine every once in awhile). So, it is best that I agree with you. Moreover, you may ultimately be correct, anyway.

Right on. One of the shittiest things you can do as a human is to in any way hinder someone from quitting the use of a substance or potentially harmful behavior.  Doesn’t matter what you can handle, it’s about what they WANT to handle.

Dry January is on a collision course with Inauguration Day. No CR.

The surgeon general has also warned watching or reading the news around inauguration is bad for your health.

This is more accurate.  I've done my research.

Going out on a limb here, but I'm not entirely sure that people are honest when questioned about how much alcohol they consume.

I filled out a medical questionnaire a few years ago that topped out at 7 drinks per week.

At least they are your kids in the white van.

You don’t know that.

so they are waiting on final analysis( contributions from the respective lobbies) to find their studies conclusive.

My wife and I were talking about how in just a few short years (okay 5+ now I guess since right before Covid and accelerating during Covid) we have a 3 and 5 year old grandkids who don't know what it is like to go inside stores and go shopping. Everything is use the mobile app and have them load it up for you in the loading parking spot or delivery. I think they can probably count on their hands how many times they've been inside a store, which is crazy because it was the only option we had raising kids.
