Lively accuses Baldoni of “walking into her dressing room while breast feeding” but she left out the text messages she sent him to him where she says, “come over to my trailer so we can run lines, I’m pumping.” She also says that she was uncomfortable that he wanted to include nude sex scenes featuring an underage character (with an actress of age) but she neglects to admit that she changed her nudity rider during production to have final approval of the sex scenes of her character, including the underage teenage version of the character. Lively accuses the producer of showing her pornography on the set when it was a video of a home birth being used as an example for the birthing scene. She accuses Baldoni of purposely using his D-list actor buddy in the birthing scene to humiliate her, but she neglects to include that he is a trained actor with a Master’s Degree in Theater from UCLA.

Lively is pissed off that people had backlash against her for neglecting to speak about the domestic violence aspect of the story during PR for the movie so she could focus on talking about her makeup line she launched during the release of the film. The producer alleges Lively did not read the book so she did not understand the domestic violence context that some women identified with and wanted to talk in favor of pushing her makeup products. She’s Amber Heard 2.0. It just doesn’t help that the producer is using outlets like Megyn Kelly to get his point across so everyone that sides with him is being associated with that Fox News shit.

Lively absolutely does not want to talk about domestic violence and makes a joke about it when it was the central theme of the book. This interview shows an example of how she makes a joke about the entire thing.

I'm not saying it didn't happen the way she said, just that in that clip she tries to explain something by reference to her astrological sign.  Astrology references are a top 5 red flag for batshit crazy.  Plus I'm an Aquarius, completely incompatible with Virgo, everyone knows that.

I had no idea about this deal, but ran across this interview on Youtube. Hard for me to watch people being cruel. I fucking hate bullies.

One of the most re-watchable movies out there and if you've ever worked in a restaurant, it's almost a documentary.

Ton of people in it, too.

It is, but Ana Faris made that movie funnier, not Ryan

Put me down as a fan of Van Wilder.

And Adventureland is great, but he wasn't the star.

he's funny...Deadpool is the only Marvel i enjoy. and i also had no idea how much of a businessman he was. having said that, as far as acting...

There’s clearly a culture clash here as the European interviewer got blindsided by Lively and Posey’s performative bullshit in response to a nice congratulations on an expected baby and a question about wardrobe in a period movie.

The chef’s kiss here is these two being up on their high horse here and it’s a promo tour for a film they did with fucking Woody Allen, notorious sex pest and creep.

Blake got a lot of backlash about this video and said it was part of the PR campaign the producer had against her.

The producer’s lawyer is saying it’s not his client’s fault people don’t like Lively for peddling her beauty line while promoting a domestic violence movie. It’s not a coordinated PR campaign against her when she’s acting this way while promoting a fucking Woody Allen movie.

I think she's a piece of shit. Baldoni shouldn't have harassed her, but her being his victim doesn't mean I have to like her.

Yeah but he was a Scott Derry level liability at DB for the Titans

I tend to believe that Baldoni and the furniture guy were real pieces of shit who got what’s coming to them.

I do love the Hollywood and celebrity beat though.  It’s all fake beef and manufactured feuds and the dipshit journalists running quotes from publicists as “close friends.”

And then you’ve got some actual super predator like Weinstein or Diddy just devouring people alive and the most media saturated  environment on earth it’s “we had no way to know.”

The Shallows is the only movie of hers I’m familiar with and that was pure garbage.

The Town is probably her best movie but she was a relatively minor character. Gossip Girl is the role she’s most known for.

Hey, did you know that took place in Boston? I thought the movie was pretty subtle about it.

Read The Letter Justin Baldoni Begrudgingly Wrote After Blake Lively Allegedly Demanded Producer Credit

Quote

Justin Baldoni accuses Blake Lively of unjustly demanding a producer credit and mark on It Ends With Us and In Touch obtained the letter he said he felt forced to write on her.

On June 27, 2024, Justin’s production partner Jamey Heath allegedly sent an email to his lawyers and Justin, explaining his frustration with Blake’s request.

In the email, Jamey allegedly said, “We received a request to write a recommendation on behalf of Blake for her to receive the PGA mark. This was a request that we felt was unreasonable and cold hearted. Essentially, the movie … has been taken unjustly from Justin as a director and essentially from Wayfarer’s control due to the extortion of Blake.”

“Without going into all the details of the events that transpired over the months, Justin and I ended up agreeing to write the letter due to feeling trapped. She continues to hold a threat over our heads and every time we try and hold a line she uses that threat directly or indirectly to get us to fold,” Jamey said.

Quote

He said, “[Blake] did not perform the duties of a producer and, therefore, in the professional opinion of the studios, did not qualify for the p.g.a. mark—a distinction highly valued and taken seriously within the industry.”

His lawyer said, “Despite having conceded on nearly every other demand to this point, [Justin and Wayfarer] believed it unjust and unethical to falsely represent to the PGA that she had fulfilled the requisite producing responsibilities. [Blake], in turn, instructed Sony to tell Wayfarer and [Justin] that ‘any good will left between us is done.’’

“Eventually, in the face of persistent threats levied against Wayfarer and [Justin], they were left with little choice but to draft and sign a letter on Lively’s behalf,” his lawyer said.

"the p.g.a. mark—a distinction highly valued and taken seriously within the industry.”

That line made me laugh.

Baldoni’s attorney “ I object! They did a better job of destroying my client than my client did to destroy them”

Which story do you buy?

1. No name director gets famous name actress to sign on to his project for the benefits that come with it. Due to husband, said actress is on the Hollywood A list currently while most have never heard of the director.

Director proceeds to act like he is on the set of Log Jammin and sexually harasses and intimidates more powerful actress.

Fight ensues.

2. A List actress sigs on lower level director’s project to try to restart her career. Being the most powerful on set, tries to take over the project and the credit. Fight ensues.

We may never know the truth sadly.

Dark day.

What is wrong with this interview?  They're being light and joking around.  Nobody is bullying anyone, not in the realm at all.  And this is probably in the series of a dozen they had to do that day on a junket.

If anyone is out of line here it's the interviewer and the editor.  She's taking herself too seriously, then dramatically posts this made her want to quit her job.  Sounds like a good idea.  Funny that the irony of Lively's last answer was lost on everyone.

Rundown of his claims against her here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-14295303/shock-new-claims-Justin-Baldoni-Blake-Lively-lawsuit-Taylor-Swift.html

The funniest one is that she rewrote a scene and used Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift to intimidate him into approving her changes. She referred to herself as Khaleesi and RR and TS as her "dragons."

I'm amused by the shitty legal advice and/or lack of client control. She's an A-lister (courtesy of her husband and friends), and no one has heard of this dude until this shit show of a movie. All she had to do was lay low for six months and then 99% of people would move on to something else and forget about this mess. But oh no... She had to take it to a whole other level, sue the guy, give the story more life than it deserves, and now Justin is famous. WTF? And you bought yourself and husband a counter suit that includes claims consistent with rumors (that haven't seemed to hurt you -- yet) about what assholes you are in real life. This is mutual assured destruction, and I'm entertained.

And I cannot imagine how excited their lawyers are to bill the fuck out these people. Bravo.

#1 has been documented at this point and the claims about him sexually harassing her on set should be easily verified.  He also hired a PR firm to destroy her.

It's not mutually assured destruction.  The no name director has already lost and that's why he's going full nuclear.  Also, RR and BL have enough money just to sport fuck him.

He'll never work in that town again.  If anyone hopes to work on Deadpool 9 or whatever they're up to, they won't even be connected with him.

I think it’s telling that the entire cast, as well as Coleen Hoover, the author of the source material, abandoned Baldoni during the press tour, before all this came out.

I've been trying to read through Baldoni's legal complaint. It has a lot of text messages and emails, as many if not more than Lively's complaint. It's long so it will be a few days, but they are doing a good job of telling a story that makes more sense.

Holy shit!  I didn't realize that was her half sister.  I have a crazy, long distance (like really long distance) connection to all of this.  Robyn Lively was in Teen Witch with my buddy Lee.  He only had a small part in the movie, but he was on the movie poster and VHS cover.  His family actually owned my childhood home before my parents bought the house from his parents.  Sorry for the thread hijack, but it really is a small world.

I check in on this thread cause it's at the top. The moment it drops down, I won't until it gets bumped again. At some point, I just lose interest and wait for the courts decisions. Mostly cause I suspect both parties are vain, egotistical assholes. One is just a bigger ass than the other and one is gonna be really sad.

I view this story the same way I now view GamerGate. As a preview of how higher stakes sociopolitical debates will play out in the future.

Nobody but some nerds gave a shit about gamergate
