January 6Jan 6 Maybe the ugliest recruiting edit I've seen in a while. Hayes continues to elevate his work.Â
January 6Jan 6 Extremely large individual. Former 5 star and guy who reportedly was starting to put it together last season. If he can take it up a level, you have a real impact player. If he only progresses half a level, then you have a rotational surface eater who can play 35 snaps a game.  Â
January 6Jan 6 I clicked on the on3 link and saw that Agiye Hall went from Bama to Texas to UCF and now to Sacramento State. 😬

January 6Jan 6 By next season, Texas Longhorn DTs will be drafted in 3 consecutive NFL drafts (6 total?). If Shaw is ready to learn and work, he will be rewarded. Edited January 6Jan 6 by pacman
January 6Jan 6 Popular Post Mack must have been torn between shitting on Texas and making things worse for his successor.
January 6Jan 6 Come in, work hard and dedicate yourself to your physical and academic future at Texas... it will literally change your life!  The opportunity is there, you just have to decide that nothing, but nothing is gonna get between you and becoming your best. Welcome to the fold. And remember first will come the pain, then will come the gain! Hook'em!
January 12Jan 12 The best two "highlight" films I could find of him were from HS (hate to link anything from Rivals but it is what it is). Not surprisingly, I couldn't find much from UNC. The second video is almost more of a hype video - but it still has a lot of highlights. In any case, I can see why he had the lofty ranking. He is... LARGE. And fast. If Sark/Baker can maximize Shaw's talent and Shaw and the SC/nutrition staff can keep his weight under control, I think he'll be a very nice addition for us  Edited January 12Jan 12 by campcrunk
February 4Feb 4 Found some more footage of him in UNC's 2023 spring game. Not a lot you can really read into here except that he's large, he's very fluid, he's highly athletic, and he didn't always understand football player at that point in time. If Kenny Baker can develop this kid and Kanu into players, we should sign him to a lifetime contract - whatever the cost. On the other hand, it's a spring game, so who knows?  Edited February 4Feb 4 by campcrunk
