January 10Jan 10 Ticket prices seem to have rebounded (or stayed steady?). I sold some in the lowers I bought before the weather crashed the prices for about 33% more than I bought them for and then bought some uppers for about 20% of the overall cost. I just want to get in the door so taking a little profit is fine.
January 10Jan 10 Author austinites on i35 - all else equal all routes to the tailgate running 1 hour - assume everyone staying tonight will try to check and secure their rooms first - but for those heading nonstop to the tailgate pick your route
January 10Jan 10 Roads are fine. Imma was right. You're all pussies...except for me. I'm also not a pussy. LETS FUCKING GO

January 10Jan 10 that might have been the most stress free drive I've had to DFW. no weather issues at all.
January 10Jan 10 9:00 a.m. in Dallas, a light snow is falling but the roads are clear. Let’s get moving. [emoji1591]Looks like Virginia

Edit: a little cooler today 52 with 15 mph WNW winds in 2003… I can tell you that wind made it feel a lot damn colder than 52 https://stats.texassports.com/custompages/sports/m-footbl/archive/stats/02/010103.htm Edited January 10Jan 10 by UTexasFight
January 10Jan 10 I'm sitting at my desk, 3 hours from AT&T, thinking about the game and what I'm going to eat while I watch it with my 12 year old tonight, at home. And I think I'm about to say F it, get in the car, and truck it to AT&T. Hook 'em bitches.

I can only assume those types took up the slack in the market. As in people who may have never been to a Texas game in Austin, but they see the opportunity here.
January 10Jan 10 Left an hour later than I wanted to buy I'm past Waco and ETA to tailgate is 2:45. Stress free drive and excited as shit. Roads are moving great.
January 10Jan 10 Driving up from Houston I didn't see any snow or ice on the ground until I actually hit the exit for division Street by the stadium.
January 10Jan 10 Easy drive from Tyler. First snow I saw on the roadway was when I hit 360 and turned north off I20.
