  • Disappointed?  Yes. I don’t know how you don’t run it 4 times from the 1.  Stupid Blame Ewers?  No.  He won 12 and 13 games in back to back seasons. We won 8 games in a season twice since Colt le

Sark needs to take a look in the mirror and figure out some things on offense.

But Ewers has been the same QB his entire career. Zero mobility, self-sacks himself entirely too many times, and has no deep ball at all. Our offense has been predicated around short to intermediate passing with no running threat from the QB.

We've been limited with Ewers and that's just a fact.

Will definitely be pulling for Notre Dame, fuck this ohio st team and will howard

Buckeyes have been recruiting at a higher level than us for a longer time.

But we can do better.

Put down the crack pipe.  They've been buying transfer portal starters while we've been beating them at the last two classes.

Every time I hear we're doing some different retarded jumbo package, I get a bad feeling. When has that worked against a good defense?

Not since Derek Lokey was back there.

Story of the season. Offense let the defense down. Will be refreshing to watch Arch next season.

Quinn’s good.  He’s just not enough.  The defense was.  That’s the story of the season. Defense was absolutely good enough.  If you want to second guess, it’s fair to ponder what might have transpired if Arch was promoted after the first Georgia loss, but now we’ll never know…damn….

Well probably have some idea based on next year.

When Ryan Day hugs his players; his beard leaves big dark smudges on them,   That hug was just for men.

Helm was wide open underneath. Even if receceiver falls down, very poor choice to throw that into coverage.

That play was irrelevant. Game was lost on a sweep from the 1.

Not with our bonehead QB.

Ummm we have a guy on the bench who can easily get in. We did it earlier in the game on 4th.

Yeah, but our bonehead corch refuses to use him at the goal line since the aggy game.

Bro

Sark

Went slow developing

Sideways

Wisner

With 2 plays to work with on the 1

He needs to hire a fat fucking chip kelly

We've been in the final 4 two years in a t row. Why am I depressed? I feel like Sark will only reach that goal only, or just making the playoffs. Fucking Marcus Freeman made the title game and he's younger than Sark with less talent. We wasted so many good and great players.

He’s so great at whipping ULM though!

Is this still a bit??

Sarks the same guy he’s always been he’s just built culture and talent to a level that we can compete at the top.

He still outsmarts himself regularly, he still has no concept of time of possession or momentum, and he still is boneheaded with clock management.

I joined the train a few weeks back - he can't call plays anymore. He gets 80% right. But the 20% he gets wrong he gets really wrong.

Who is the back up next year so I can get ready to say he’s the better qb?

wont matter. Same play caller

We're in great shape moving forward.

I certainly hope so, but this was a missed opportunity for sure.

It is on Sark only because he refuses to hire a true Offensive Coordinator. Texas could have won that game. It will be good to get a mobile QB.

Sark gets a pass because of what we had before. If we don’t win with Arch, his seat will be hot.

We got beat on a third down stop on a blatant missed hold that would have flipped possession when tied in the 4th

We got beat by a Trey Moore missed INT

we got beat by a shoe string tackle of wingo

But the coach lost this game.

No fucking way this Texas team was gonna win the national championship. Especially after escaping against a shit asu team

Surely no one else has pointed at a player after a play. Helm has done it numerous times without a call.

If they’re not going to call obvious holding that affects a play, why call a weak ass taunt?

Weak being the operative word here. It really was about as weak as it gets. And your point on the egregious hold on their huge conversion materially impacted the game. Likewise the no call on DPI against Wingo that killed one of our drives. He gets that it's a first at least and possibly a great deal more.

He saw him out of his peripheral and should have tucked it. But nope, he falls down and fumbles it.

Tucked it on 4th down. If one post could sum up how stupid a poster is, this is it.

If you all think QE is the problem, you’re in for a rude awakening next year.

Lots of moving pieces. The only way to know is if Arch was QB1 this year.

Seriously, how do you not have an Arch play in your back pocket? Pop pass or somrthing?

Saving it for next week, coach?

Sark needs a Chip Kelly. Period.

For those of us that don't really NFL or aren't that deep in to other sports.

See you guys in 7 1/2 months.

Hook'em

Oh, and put in the Got Damn Arch package from the 1 foot line.

If you all think QE is the problem, you’re in for a rude awakening next year.
Quinn is part of the problem. A QB who isn't able to move when a pocket collapses and floats deep balls isn't going to do it for us. A better developed Arch has the tools to get out of a lot of the crap calls that Sark got Quinn into.

But I agree Sark needs an OC. He called that BS. It's on him and Quinn.

It’s been 2 years now. We were told it was fixed.

Yeah, I was re-reading my post and thought I should have added something about the fact that Sark didn't get it fixed over the course of the season is pretty damning.  Part of it is an attitude thing on the part of the O-line, and part of it is deficiencies in schemes, IMO.  Whatever the causes were, this team was not good on the ground in the RZ for basically the entire season, and that ultimately falls at Sark's feet.

Sure. But still a poor decision. Quite a few of those during the season.

Goaline with Manning under center it wasn’t that hard….

Can’t put this one on quinn sark has to make that call and on 4th he has to move is QB out of the pocket to his favorite side.

I’d love to hear sark explain why he didn’t pound it 4 times from the 1.  It is inexplicable , inexcusable pathetic bullshit.  Weak ass shit buddy

I’m at a loss. I cannot believe that play call. And I cannot believe that screen. 14 points was never going to be enough. Sark has to get his head out of his ass and dial something up.

Players didn't always execute either. Credit Ohio State too, though. They have some dudes. Chip Kelly and Howard were dealing at times. On balance, our defense did more than our offense. Not really surprising despite our Offense making a game of it. The no holding call on that huge conversion by Ohio State looms large too.

The offense continuously stomped their own dicks in the ground. Then tied it and continued to stomp on their dick. Ewers is done at Texas. Good. We wasted a championship defense with a shitty offense that limped along until they tripped themselves.

Think we coached well u til that GOALINE drive!!

I just dont understand what Sark was thinking

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what changes with Ewers gone, regardless of any changes Sark makes.

Our offense seems extra-vulnerable to execution errors.  We're talented, but not all 5-stars are created equal.  And we could probably use another couple of years of culture building.
