We wasted a championship defense with a shitty offense that limped along until they tripped themselves. Anybody blaming any of the players for this loss is full of it. a) Defense gets ball and momentum. Empty sets are working and fucking Sark runs into the line on first and second down and gives back the ball. b) Ohio State makes it clear that a pass will not get into the endzone since they will interfere every time and dare Sark to have the balls to run it in and Sark shows he has no balls. Maybe it doesn't matter next year with Arch but I feel this will be Colt 2.0 where he has to make everything himself. I have a very strong belief that if you have one chance to get two yards for a win you fucking go for it. that includes at the end if the first overtime. Fuck, you got the ball right fucking there. If you can't score, you deserve to lose. we couldn't do it in four fucking downs

We didn’t get a “natty” (ugh) with Quinn but he has been an important cog in building back a program to national prominence where it belongs. His role should best be thought of as a needed and necessary stabilizing cohesive piece in the restoration of our football program after the long absence from the relevance we have been accustomed to. Brooks being a stud was one of the most predictable things that coming year.

January 11Jan 11 Quinn's biggest drawbacks, as compared to Colt, are that he's not a gamer, he has zero pocket presence, and he's not mobile. When we started to get pressure on Howard tonight, Kelly started moving the pocket. Sark doesn't have that option with Ewers. Ewers remained the starter because of Sark's loyalty, not because he gave us the best chance to win.

But I am not convinced that’s going to happen, hence my statement sark will need a transcendent QB to win it all. I disagree that he'll need a transcendent QB. He will figure out how to run the ball. It's what he does. With that he will not need a transcendent QB. I think he would have run it if we still had Roschon... And definitely if we still had Bijan.

January 11Jan 11 We had a commitment tonight that we've had for 6 months, so I didn't watch the game. I've read some articles and watched recaps and pundits. I always say turnovers and mistakes decide who wins these games, and we had more of both. Always sucks to lose, but two final fours in two years doesn't. Number 1 class coming in and looking forward to seeing Arch lead this team. Always proud to be a Longhorn.

January 11Jan 11 In my section at the game, there were some absolute shithead OSU fans that were very belligerent and aggressive. They lived in a fantasy land where the refs were trying to screw them over the whole game and acted like Texas was lucky to take the field against them. Then they turned into absolute dickheads on the fumble and aggressively turned around cussed us out as their dude ran it back. I will add that there were normal OSU fans around that were embarrassed by their behavior.
January 11Jan 11 Ryan Day brought in an OC so he could focus on being the HC, and, IMO, it proved to be the deciding factor. Sark needs to do the same.

Arch may be the best thing to happen to the Forty Acres ever. That said, we need to appreciate Quinn. He won’t be back for which many will be happy, but he brought us back from irrelevance, and brought us to multiple semi finals where we were one play away. Quinn and Sark and our line play brought us to where we are. We’re here to stay. I’m proud to be a Texas Ex and excited for the future. From the Texas hate out there, its obvious Texas really is back.

January 11Jan 11 Funny to say this after the struggles the last 6 games but the end of the 3rd came at a terrible time. we finish a 12 play, 67 yard drive to tie it up, get OSU to punt after a 3 and out (after their personal foul negated a first down). We get 7 on first down, then have to sit through the end of 3rd quarter timeout on the stink of a 2 yard loss on a pass in the flat to wisner. Quinn comes out and never gives Golden a chance on 3rd and 5. all that hard earned momentum gone. OSU marches 88 yards on 13 plays for 6 chewing up half the 4th quarter in the process.

You are assuming the 2nd half playcalling would be exactly the same if Ohio State didn't score at the end of the 2nd quarter. Who knows how each coach would have handled it if it was tied 7-7 at half. Would’ve been a lot cooler if we found out

If he was good in the clutch we’d be SEC champs. Instead, he made almost every SEC game a nail biter because he can’t close.
