This is easily the worst match I've seen in '25. Sadly, AA is about to lose it in straights to a hobbled Emma.

Emma was down 0-3 in the second and then won 7 of 9.

He taut stomach put her over the line, but AA is look more fit than she has in years. If she can focus and train for the entire year, she could be pretty good by the time of the U.S. Open.

Well, you left out a rather major detail. Down 0-3, Emma called for the trainer. An exceedingly long hip stretch session magically woke her up & killed AA.

I spoke to a WTA physio once and he said he's never worked a day in his life.

Well, besides the day he had to work on the thighs of Taylor Townsend.

This MTO was weird, the chair called time, then the trainer just kept stretching her. Like they were at a nothing August 250 in Austin.

That doesn’t excuse Amanda’s subsequent fails though.

Good 5th set tiebreaker on now between Medvedev and Tien.

Tien won it. never heard of the guy, but I dont follow the sport much anymore. he played like a m'fer in that tiebreak. Announcer said it was the 6th latest ending of a Grandslam match, so yeah, pretty late.

Ha, Dani told the entire crowd to kiss her ass. She is getting roundly booed.

I saw the post match and presser. Madi's going to have the biggest home court advantage.

She was about to compliment her opponent and the boos kept coming, so she LEANS INTO IT and eggs them on further.

JPeg didn’t quit but she laid a turd against a Serb ranked outside the top 50. She’s already on a plane home to watch the Bills playoff game

Olga and Novak have had serious chemistry vibes for a while, to the point I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out later they had a fling.

Never heard of Collins before this morning, but I'm loving her schtick.  Fuck 'em if they can't take it.  Shitload of salty Aussies on twitter whining over her comments.

Lucky loser Eva Lys, who replaced Kalinskaya 10 minutes before her R1 match, is into the last 16. First time that's ever happened on the women's side since this tourney moved to Melbourne. Too bad she gets Iga next.

Elina was down 1-4 to Kudermetova, reeled off 11 of next 12 to coast. Helluva week for the happy couple.

Pulled out a can of Ukrainian Whoopass and doused the Ruskie with it before lighting her on fire.
