Son is out of town, but lives nearby.  His truck (GMC Sierra) was broken into on Sunday night and it needs a new front passenger window.

Any recommendations?  Son does not want to use insurance (he's concerned about rate changes - but may be confused).  Called Covert to ask - person there was clueless.  Any recommendations in the Austin area?  Prefer if they come to where truck is.

I have had good luck with Auto Glass Solutions on Burnet north of 183.  Don't come to you, but you make an appointment and in and out quick.  Also was very affordable from my recollection.

Thanks.  Safelite immediately came to mind, but their reputation is so-so.  Service and glass quality.  That said, it is passenger side, so could be OK.

DOH!  Delete thread, ban user.

Son asked me, "Who did you use to replace your windshield a while back?'
Uh.  ProGlass.  They were awesome.
