That throw with his feet coming out from under him is wild.

Yea as he was letting it go I was thinking "pick" then there was actual velocity on it and the Texans once again forgot to cover the future HofF tight end.

I thought he was forcing it and it would be an INT.

Nope.  Vintage fucking Mahomes to Kelce.

fify

Well that was a horrible turn of events for the Texans.

oopsie, you don't want let free runners through the A gap

How do you not punt there

He thought the Center had it.  Problem was they had 2 defenders for both of the Center's A gap.

Somebody fucked up on calling the blocking scheme.

lol. Why go for it ?
Probably don't have a lot of faith they will stop Mahomes. And for good reason.

Complain about the refs all you want but maybe block someone if you want to win? Just a thought.

and they stopped mahomes

Whatever happened to a punt returner parking their heels on the 10 and anything over their head was a non- catch?  I see dudes in NFL and bigtime college fielding shit at the 5 all the time.

Why?

Wasn't the general rule don't fair catch inside the 10?

Maybe modern punting where they can control the bounce better changes that.

Seems like I'd rather let it go and potentially gain 15 yards vs losing another 4 or 5.

I'm not the only one.

The amount of grace given the chiefs on holds and the BS mahomes gets away with is a joke

Touche

Texans still in this thang.

i mean... thats DPI all day

talking about the 2nd down play where the defener wrapped his arms around the back side of the reciever before the ball got there... but thats not the call thats going to be made against any team other than the Chiefs

Ewers fault they missed that block imo

chiefs just barely hit 200 yards offense and Kelsey had something like 110 yards of it.

Punters are a lot better now at controlling the bounce. Now it’s more like you fair catch anything outside the 2.

I disagree with the new school of thought though. To me the potential of a touchback is well worth the 2-3 yards you save with a fair catch. It’s stupid.

Eh, the nfl and refs still deserve all the shit they’re getting for those bs calls.

Texans aren't giving up. Two clutch catches in a row.

Looks like the Texans need to draft guards and center.
