February 25Feb 25 So whoever is the DC for Arizona this upcoming season, we can expect him on staff this time next year?

I’m trying to think of an analogy, but can’t. Too damn funny but a little disappointed that Jerry Gray isn’t involved. It’s the giant decorative crab of db coach hires

February 25Feb 25 Jeez, the guy is 68. This is a ridiculous hire. Texas is going to lose recruits over this.
February 25Feb 25 4 hours ago, Codaxx said: probably shouldnt hire a position coach that is older than Bobby Burton. We need some standard. Would love to have him as an analyst. Shit, dude, Bobby isn't THAT old.

February 25Feb 25 Popular Post lol at y'all thinking Akina doesn't know how to coach 3 Thorpe winners, 6 Thorpe finalists, 41 NFL DBs including 7 Pro Bowlers. Â

February 25Feb 25 Upset - I was looking forward to reading at least a few days worth of speculation, arguments, hate and Akina jokes.  Too quick, Sark.

February 25Feb 25 I’m not getting fussed over Sark hires yet, but this is comical. We would fucking roast the hicks in college station if they hit up hospice for a hire like this.
February 25Feb 25 What I learned today is that Sark is reading the board. Hi Steve! Lose the weird blazers buddy!

February 25Feb 25 Popular Post Sark hired a coach that Surley doesn’t approve of?!?!? Great fucking job Sark!!! That shit always worksÂ
February 25Feb 25 Is he just coaching the left side or both corner positions? Can there be only one? Â Who is coaching Nickelback, Chad Kroeger? Â Also, I thought I remembered back in the day that we and the coaches were concerned because the line and the DBs weren't on the same page because Akina was good at coaching man but not good at coaching zone - or something like that - maybe I don't remember, Â Â Â Â Â Edited February 25Feb 25 by Bevo

The money had absolutely zero to do with this. There isn’t a donor out there begging for a random assistant hire. 1 hour ago, Dbeasy said: Jeez, the guy is 68. This is a ridiculous hire. Texas is going to lose recruits over this. No they will not. Good lord. Texas has a ton of young recruiting support and Akina has all of the skins on the wall otherwise. 1 hour ago, Hank Scorpio said: Sark has clearly lost a step and Greg Davis is only 73 years old. I’m nowhere near 73, buddy. 33 minutes ago, Im_smarter_then_you said: Sark strikes me as being pretty thin skinned He’s the opposite. Dude it’s a terrible hire. In 754 years of coaching Akina still cannot teach corners what a zone defense is. And that basically what we run.Â

February 25Feb 25 Popular Post The DC (and real MVP) for the Super Bowl champ Philadelphia Eagles Vic Fangio is 66. That decrepit old man got through to the Philly youngsters ok (even though the pussy ass Dolphin players ran him off because he coached them too hard). He dialed up a great game plan that made Mahomes look downright ordinary. They had another couple coaches in their 60s as well. It’s not a death sentence and there’s a lot to be said for experience and wisdom.
February 25Feb 25 Just now, Hornius Emeritus said: Please tell me what you know about his offers or lack thereof. Look Mrs Akina, he isn’t a fucking analyst or position coach at Stanford in the midst of complete irrelevance because Nick Saban, Kirby Smart and Dabo were fighting over him and he decided to take the 2-10 school as a compromise.Â
