It isn't a guarantee but the ability for a mobile QB to bail out bad OL play and marginal OCing is huge, ESPECIALLY with the protection that the QB is afforded in modern football.  It is beyond stupid to have a non mobile QB. It puts the DL and LB in so much conflict.

Remember this being the case as far back 1960s when Cowboy fans wanted wanted running Staubach  to start over pocket passer Craig Morton.

Lulz.

They've stopped it twice in a row when not offside.  Line up and play ball.

If NY wants you to win, yes.

The last one was not a deliberate act when philly is out there running a hard count.

eagles will be the only reason I will cheer for chiefs

Same. Hopefully the Bills bail us out in the late game.

The NFL needs to trash this play.  That last one wasn't deliberate....the Eagles are running a hard count.

How come? Every team in the league can run this if they want. Find a way to stop it.

I sort of get it, when the ball literally cannot be placed any closer, there's no downside to the defense. I thought it was weird to call it "this behavior" on the hard count. Should have just said that because the ball cannot be reset another procedural penalty will result in a score awarded. I also didn't know that was a rule.

Why are we running a hard count? You're on the 1 inch line. Snap the mother fucking ball.

Because Philly.

Shitty ass organization, coach and shittiest fans in the league.

yes, but the D could punish(and did many times) the QB for his decisions.  they can't anymore. It is basically dereliction of duty for an organization not to have a pretty mobile QB.  Mahomes gets all kinds of yards by pretending he's going out of bounds or doing the late slide with very little risk.

Lookin more like the Washington Cowboys amiright?

Dan Quinn's defense traveled with him. If his defenses aren't getting turnovers in bunches, they are horrendous. Low IQ plays. Detroit and Tampa both turned it over too often. At some point, your defense needs to be able to get timely sacks, stops without the aid of turnovers. It seems to be all or nothing with him.

Its fucking douche tastic that Philly is running hard count in that situation.

they can start calling Hurts(and other QB's) for bobbing their head.  It's been bullshit for a while now.  call it one time in that situation and the BS stops.
