It is basically dereliction of duty for an organization not to have a pretty mobile QB. Mahomes gets all kinds of yards by pretending he's going out of bounds or doing the late slide with very little risk. Absolutely punish. Football in 1960s was rough as hell. Late hits and targeting were business as usual. Lot of short careers.
January 26Jan 26 Same. Hopefully the Bills bail us out in the late game.Chiefs have had a horseshoe stuck in their ass all season. It falls out tonight.

January 26Jan 26 The Nation's hopes and dreams now solely rest with the Buffalo Bills. May God help us all.

January 26Jan 26 "Never been in this opportunity before." Uttered by someone who is paid to speak English.
January 26Jan 26 Waiting over 3 decades to make the NFC championship game to lay a huge egg lol. They had a hell of a year and were down 11 with the ball before two failed 4th downs gave Eagles two short-field TDs. They also have a franchise QB. Washington can be proud of the season.(Meanwhile, we owe Dak and CeeDee $100M next season and hired Brian fucking Schottenheimer as HC.)
January 26Jan 26 That’s twice they’ve cut to show Cosmi injured in the sidelines but neither time has it been Sam Cosmi.

You don't know how many chances you get at this. Fly by night teams happen in sports constantly. To wait over 3 decades for this is a kick in the nuts. RG3 was also supposed to be their franchise QB until he wasn't. Washington won a ton of games that came down to the very end literally. Good for them, can they continue that next year? Averages say no. We have no idea how Daniels will play once these coaches have a full offseason to eye in on his weaknesses this offseason. Sure, they had a good season and broke their long drought but if Dallas ended their drought and had this game to end it, they would be crucified. And for good reason. This is the ugly side of a Dan Quinn team. Saw it in Dallas 3yrs in the playoffs. Terrible defense when it matters. Going back to the 28-3 debacle.

January 26Jan 26 33 minutes ago, Vic Mackey said: How come? Every team in the league can run this if they want. Find a way to stop it. I have a more philosophical issue with it and that is that I think any offensive player should be responsible for his own forward progress. That means once your forward progress is stopped, nobody can help you. Your forward progress can't be intentionally aided by others as a part of play design, it can't be guys pushing you forward when you get bottled up 7 yards down field (un-designed) etc etc. Once you are stopped, you are stopped. So it wouldn't just be this play, though this is the most obvious example. The game is so tilted to the offense across all levels of play that I feel stripping offenses of this one advantage is a reasonable position. Others may disagree. It is pretty obvious the dude just has a head that is way more susceptible to concussion. none of them were him getting launched at helmet to helmet while running/escaping the pocket.
