Props to ND for making this watchable but they're dusted. Bet tOSU breaks another big TD off here.

I wish it was still a final 4 myself. If it was final four, we wouldve played Oregon and UGA wouldve played ND. We would win that bracket.
This year proves how bullshit 2 and 4 were. With 2? We get Oregon vs Georgia. With 4, Oregon and Georgia automatically make the semifinals when both were blown out in the quarters.

Do I have to believe again?

Nope.

People here didn't see your game.  Only I know anOSU got flagged for two PIs before the  cataclysm.  They are grabbing every play and daring the refs to call it

Freeman's likely to be regretting that decision to kick it for the rest of his life

He probably saw what happened to Ewers and figured +3 is better than -7

It’s so illogical.

They did the same to us. They maul the receivers.

Stupidest year ever.
Reminds me of 2007. No one is dominant at all. A meh team wins it all

So Texas was the only team who could have legitimately beat this OSU team if not for a fluke/stupid screen TD before halftime.

Then they’re kicking a FG for the lead with 2 minutes left and not going for it down 7.  Ugh.

After he was uber aggressive in the first half with his 4th down decisions.

That was one of the worst turtle mode decisions I’ve ever seen.

fucking Herbdouche..."they go through Texas"  fuck you you cunt.

Kind of.  The great teams will still go undefeated or maybe lose 1.  I hope, at least.

Kirby acting like Ohio State moved the ball up and down the field on Texas. They had less than 300 yards of offense. Statistically, that game was dead even.

ND had as much of a chance of getting in the end zone there as the kicker did of missing a FG from there.

in other words, they were getting 0 either way

They weren’t coming back anyhow. He was playing numbers that weren’t there.

A little bit dramatic there.  Very likely the drive would have still come away with zero points with no impact on the final score.

One fucking yard line. Fuck Fuck Fuck. We'd be celebrating winning the National Championship tonight. Fuck. The whole country, except for Ohio and Indiana, would be celebrating. Even New Yorkers. Hell Europe would be celebrating. Fuck. Here's to next year! Go Horns.

Maybe? I mean in a 4 team playoff we likely still end up with Not Georgia and not Oregon, so we still have a meh champion. It's a meh year.

At least he would have tried.

Instead, he goes out a "play it safe" loser?

yep and it is our own dumbass fault he gets to do that.  they had 3.2 YPC.

So the next Jerry Rice has 35 yards the last 2 games.  Why must the sports media overreact so hard to everything?

Maybe. But I doubt it.

the top conferences are stacked so much more and there is definitely something to be said when teams know they can afford a loss and not lose out on championship dreams

Hah, I was just thinking that at least that play won't be the one people remember as the worst of the CFP. It will be remembered, particularly vs OSU, but not nearly as much.

But you also de-emphasize the regular season results

ND wasn't gonna get 2 2pt conversions anyways, they still needed a FG

This.  Down 16 isn’t really 2 scores it’s really 4 scores. The FG was not by definition a bad decision. It’s at least arguable. And it was a chip shot. No way that should be missed.  So you go from 4 scores to tie to 2 scores to win. I’d make that decision most of the time.
