January 21Jan 21 Tonight is a must win for RT and the boys. ESPN gives us a 71% chance of victory. The line is Texas -2.5 and the OU is 147.5. I'll go with Texas -2.5 and under. Personally I'm headed out to see Del McCroury tonight so I'll miss most of the game but the simplest way to put it is if we lose this one we're really fucked
January 22Jan 22 Missouri has really turned things around from a disastrous season last year. The Tigers were 8-24 for the season with a perfect record for futility in the SEC of 0-18. They ended last season on a 19-game losing streak. This season under head coach Dennis Gates, in his third season, they are 15-3, with a 4-1 record in the SEC, with the only loss to #1 Auburn. They have wins over then #1 ranked Kansas and a recent road win over #5 Florida. Two teams going in opposite directions. Missouri seems the better team, but Texas outside of the Connecticut loss has played well at home. Looks like another game that could go down to the wire, which Texas hasn't handled that scenario well, except holding off OU after blowing a big lead. It's a must win for Texas and Terry to have any chance of making the NCAA Tourney. Hard to call, looks like a tossup. It depends on Texas shooting well and having one or more of their scoring threats go off and turnovers. Can't see the Horns winning on the boards or suddenly becoming good on defense.
January 22Jan 22 Yeah this one kind of feels like the season after being unable to steal any of the four big ones we just played. W could potentially get them back on track - L here and you start looking at a huge streak needed at some point to sneak in the dance.
January 22Jan 22 It's REALLY hard to fight the "The last thing we need is to stumble backwards into the tournament at 7-11 in conference, perhaps giving Terry another year" feeling. Really hard.

Really hard. Meh. You may be right but RT is still easy for me to root for. They just went through a brutal stretch and while they didn't look good during it It's still too early in the season for me to think it's best they lose games. It's looking like it's time to move on but cbb can be extremely streaky and I don't think this roster totally sucks. If RT isn't the guy the results will bear themselves out. We'll see what they do tonight. Get a W here and the next 5 are all very winnable, too. 🤘

January 22Jan 22 I almost picked up a cheap as shit ticket for the game this afternoon. then I remembered we suck ass. Its a shame I missed witnessing this offensive explosion in person. we're on pace for almost 7 points this game.

January 22Jan 22 That isn't a goaltend. Every season I forget how awful college basketball refs are and every season I'm amazed by it.

January 22Jan 22 Are the refs even watching the game? Couldnt figure out who the ball went off of. Literal

January 22Jan 22 That was a great take by Tre. Missed it but drew 2 or 3 guys and left both the OREB and kickout for 3 wide open. I don't think he's coming back next year.

You know - these guys don't exactly suck. Pope especially has flashed a lot lately. Just not sure with all of the injuries and newness they can develop enough chemistry and figure the rotations out before the season is tanked.
January 22Jan 22 Tre plays into the defender and gets an and-1 there a year from now. Are we sure we can't give him like 2% of Austin FC and a nice condo downtown to hang around another season?
January 22Jan 22 it really is amazing. Galindo and this color guy literally won't let more the 3 seconds of silence happen...
