February 14Feb 14 Texas sets NFL record by having 14 players invited to the combine. That is both awesome and frustrating at the same time. How the heck did this team not win it all.

February 14Feb 14 Shit. Fuck. Did anyone else get this Zoom invite? @South Austin, does this have to do with our argument in the Accounts Payable call?

We often make that joke to each other about falsifying invoices. But it's only a joke, because I would never knowingly falsify invoices, but sometimes mistakes could possibly have been made. Hey, South Austin, maybe let's discuss this offline. By phone. Edited February 14Feb 14 by TreatyOak

The Superintendent of the Lake Travis Independent School District allegedly might possibly have had that little problem. He just resigned by mutual agreement with the school district, which usually means, 'resign now and we won't have you arrested, cause we have all the invoices, you dumbass.' Also, the head of their school district police department also decided he needed to resign, cause, well, he needed to spend more time with the family.

February 15Feb 15 What’s the word on kicker? Are we seriously bringing back a kicker that was 64% on FG’s last year?

We don't have a 4th OOC opponent for '26. If the SEC doesn't approve a 9-game conf schedule for next year, we will end up scheduling some scrub opponent on short notice.

Our conference schedule is going to be loaded in 2026, we already have Ohio St schedule to come to Austin, and we have a potential SECCG, and however many rounds of playoffs. Bitching about non con cream puffs in the current playoff format is fucking stupid.

I'd much rather have a 9th SEC game on the schedule. Plus, for Texas specifically the 9-game conf schedule brings good balance: 4 home, 4 road, OU.

Oregon State appears to have an opening, based on their future schedules @ UH, Tech, @ SDSU - SDSU is joining the new Pac-12 effective July 1, 2026, so that may revert to a conference game and they could come to Austin. They likely need to backfill that spot + grab another OOC game. Edited February 19Feb 19 by Js1

Whatever game it is it should ALWAYS be a home game. No home and homes. The only time we’ve played an FCS team was Sam the year NCAA went from 11 to 12 regular season games and that was schedule late spring of that year and everyone struggled to find. Other than that we haven’t played an FCS team in 30+ years, probably more. Edited February 19Feb 19 by BurntOrange&White

February 20Feb 20 I seriously hope they don't have pinhead Bert as the kicker. Give the job to Will Stone like in the Cotton Bowl.

I think it would be cool to open up the facilities to let fans tour the different areas like being on field, SEZ, locker rooms, etc.
February 20Feb 20 Fuck there was Bevo Blvd and everything for the kiddos for the spring game. Can't they just have an open workout and non-contact shindig? I'd pay money just to have an excuse to go to Austin with the fam in the Spring. Sheeit.
February 20Feb 20 I understand limiting hits on the guys but kinda lame to cancel it imo. Sports exist for entertainment and the spring game is part of that here.

February 20Feb 20 It's going to be hard for me to justify my Trey Owens for Heisman campaign without more spring game footage.
