Taaffe will enjoy a career in politics after his NFL career is over.

Dumbass SEC played the aggy fight song when Sark walked to the podium.

I mean I'm not mad...their Fight Song is more about Texas than Aggie anyways.

I was under the impression that we thought highly of him.

All 3 players did well in the interviews today, I listened to all of them on SXM then a few on YT. Well done on sark and co prepping them. Ant Hill seems like a cool dude with a high pitched voice that you would never link with him wrecking your ass on the field.

Actually, Livingstone’s was one of the first names Sark mentioned when talking about the WR room.

Watching SEC Now speaking to media days.  Jordan Rogers is a complete cunt.  He, quite literally, cannot find anything positive to say about Arch/Texas.  Even when someone else on the panel says something positive, he always jumps in to counter.

His comments on Arch on College Football Live were just stupid. You could see him restraining himself from saying anything too positive.

I edited this "hype" video weeks ago but wanted to share again. I can't fucking wait for this season. Optimal to watch with headphones on and a whiskey and/or weed pen in hand. Clips are strictly from Texas sports media team.

Very nicely done and cool music.

Good job.

Thanks! The song is "Victory Dance" by My Morning Jacket. It's a slow burn, but always pumps me up and the lyrics feel pertinent. My favorite part was syncing up the Arch clips with the 2nd verse, where God (or a higher being) is talking to the main character:

Hey there, I'm flying up above
Lookin' down on the tired earth
But I can see I can see potential
Speaking through you, speaking to you
From all of heavens possibility
Power, hey do you know how it works?
Hey do you know that the meek, they shall inherit the earth?
But you should work, for the self and the family

Cowherd is a college football know-nothing. He states in that bit that Georgia blew out Texas twice and then doubled down on that take and said they humiliated Texas twice. Huh? Texas was within one score in the 4th in the 1st game and then missed a FG to win the second one that led to OT. He didn’t need to watch the games to know better. Just read a fucking box score or something, guy. No one is blown out in a game that is finished in OT.

lol! I was just finishing a WTF thought when I saw this post. I guess they have no fact checkers. More likely just him pulling shit out of his ass as usual.

But

on the bright side

no gay talk about horns down being a penalty and people calling Texas soft for it being a thing.

instead we get the dumb aggy bonfire collapse fight song about us or whatever and that’s the big talking point eat shit

You know Arch Manning is just like Apple, you have different options in a phone but you have to pay a price. Austin is a glamor city, but I like my rough and tough USC guys in a hardworking city like LA, Google, Microsoft, chatGPT. Looking at that explosive passing offense from Michigan it’s going to be a long journey for Ohio State to catch up, they even have any wide receivers?

Heres joy with the boobs

Cowherd is a no nothing about everything. Seriously, h me doesn’t have an area of expertise. If anything college football is probably his secondary or tertiary area.

I love a good QB controversy that isn't ours!

However, since then, things have changed for Sayin. A shaky performance in spring practice definitely diminished expectations, and Ohio State coach Ryan Day even said that Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz were neck and neck for the starting quarterback job.

He's potentially in for a very rude awakening game one if he's as shaky as this article makes it appear.

That’s a pretty fucking terrible article for tOSU. If Sayin doesn’t turn out to be the guy, they are in huge trouble this year. Can’t wait to see him pissing his pants as Collin Simmons lives in the backfield all game.

He loves opining about NFL quarterbacks but rarely says anything about other positions other than, "I think he's really good." Dude is always confident in his wrongness though.

It'll be a Simmons/Moore/Burke/AntHill race to the QB!

The only time I see or hear Cowherd is when Klatt pops up and it's one of his days on Cowherd's show. Klatt is not bad at all, and usually triggers a clip from 70-3.

Man, that’s scary for people that have to block.

Who is our swing tackle this season? Is it Chatman?

As in, a backup at both tackle spots? Brooks is the backup LT currently. Cojoe on the other. I don’t know if Chatman is currently at tackle or guard. He’s been both.

But he likes Arch and he likes Sark and has a big megaphone so I give him a pass.

Deunte Chatman

I love the implication of the article, but the only "news" reported on here is a top 10 list by Andy fucking Staples rating the top QBs in the Big 10. And Sayin is 7th based on ... intuition? Anyway, I hope he's dreadful and looks like a deer in the headlights when Bug Mountain throws his ass to the ground.

I'm looking at some futures and the combo of arch winning Heisman and Texas winning NC is +3000.  Now I'm not  predicting that, but given that there is substantial overlap for the scenarios that cause both of those conditions to happen, I'm not sure that's a bad bet at those odds. Kind of like if they would let you parlay first half over and total over.

Just watched Jordan Rodgers (the Case McCoy of the Rodgers family) on Crain & Co. They ranked the top 5 QBs of 2025 and all four of them had Mateer and no Arch.

The Mateer offseason hype is fascinating to me. It’s like people didn’t see him play like hard boiled ass against Wyoming, Fresno St, & Utah St.

17/35, 172 yds, 0 tds, 1 int vs Fresno St

16/22, 182 yds, 1 Td, 1 int vs Wyoming
