no secrets here. if we can find a way to win on the glass then we will win this game. if a&m is routinely allowed to have multiple looks at the basket then it’s going to be a typical sec struggle. i think that RT is gone at the end of this year regardless of what happens, so i have less than zero conflicting feelings when it comes to my desire to see us beat the aggies by 35 points. trust in CDC, and throttle a&m. always.

Favored after getting dog walked in CS? They get some injuries?

Could be a later than usual arriving crowd today. March for life (no CR) starts at 1pm today and snarls up traffic on 15th and cross streets when they march around to the capitol. Maybe the 1:30 tip will be early enough for most people to avoid the mess.

Lucky for me I can walk to Moody.

is the construction still as bad as it was on tuesday? my uber had to drop me off blocks away because of all the construction.

If you mean the north or 35-side of moody, couldn’t tell ya.

Coming from the south I haven’t noticed anything other than the demo of the Social Work building, and San Jacinto is still open but gets backed up due to people crossing to walk to and from the game.

Interdasting

This team and coaching staff is so bi polar I have zero idea what to expect. At Texas should help I guess? Gonna need tre and kaluma to have a good to great game to have a shot.

Shit load of aggy at Moody.

Less than visiting fans from Auburn/Uconn/TN from my eyes. Actually surprised - thought there would be way more.

You’re right. Now that I’m in my seats, it’s  not as bad as I thought just based on what I saw in the concourse.

Sounds like he may play in a limited manner?

well that really sucks.

wade taylor has that doughy paul pierce body that just annoys the shit out of you.

would be a good time for Johnson and Mark to go off

tre johnson passes up the catch-and-shoot three in favor of a needless pump fake followed by a ridiculous step back three. his shot selection is as bad as any Texas player i’ve ever seen. RT is ridiculous for allowing our team to attempt these shots with impunity.

Is there any player on this team at all that is capable of driving the ball to the rim

This looks like the Mizzou game, sloppy play by both teams so far.

capable? yes. asked to?  no.

So is Kaluma out?

yes, knee injury.

Kaluma is the one guy.  Pope tries but tends to bail due to the trees.  He had one good game where he was basically the O by driving and getting fouled or making a basket in 2H.

a&m aggressively attacking the basket and getting to the line while we take terrible pull up shots with zero off ball movement.

The best thing about this game so far is there’s some nice boobies in the crowd

  • Author

there’s that larry vision i was talking about. want to see more of him at PG with pope at the two.

  • Author

much better decision and shot by Tre, and he splashes it.

  • Author

pryor and tre’s last two shots were practice reps. we need more of that.

Onyema and Shedrick on the floor at the same time is different and shows how bad the rebound situation is for the Horns.

Shedrick is so soft lol.   We will be missing Kaluma big time come second half.

  • Author

we are just half a step slow in transition there. guys not ready to make the pass or take the shot, always needed an extra half second. it’s frustrating to watch.

If Kent doesn't play by far his best game of the season, we're probably losing by 10. If he does, maybe it's a coin flip. Unfortunately, he's shown zilch so far.

Kent obviously got fouled. no call.

if the refs want a war they need to not change the way they are calling aggy D right now.  don't pussy out an start trying to control the game
