Dune kicked ass, saw it in IMAX and loved it. I plan on seeing part 3 in IMAX too.

Alien Romulus was pretty entertaining, worth a watch if you're into sci-fi.

Better Man probably hasn't been seen by many, as it flopped pretty hard, but it was a good film. A somewhat different take on the music biopic style. It was a lot of fun, lots of catchy tunes and musical numbers, but also some real depressing bits. It's a bit of a rollercoaster, as the ominous issues with his father are always lurking in the background. I didn't know who Robbie Williams was before watching it, but I still enjoyed it.

Clean living

he’s always lived cleaner than he would have the masses believe.  and obsessive about staying fit.  it’s why he can still kick ass on stage and is the greatest rock star in history.

Good eulogy by Morgan Freeman

Cool how they are doing the “spotlight spiel” for technical nominees: cinematography, costume, etc.

Something that, as far as I remember, has only ever been done for actors before.

Receiving your Oscar from Penelope Cruz would be a nice little bonus

Or Selena Gomez. Or Gal Gadot. Or Ana de Armas.

I’d receive from Penelope Cruz

The Brutalist deserves both those Oscars. It looks incredible and the score stays with you. It truly stands out.

I always find it interesting how many times someone has been nominated/won in the past. I think to make it more entertaining, they should have a baseball style stat line for each of the nominees showing their past performance in Wins-Noms. It would add another element of suspense knowing how many times everyone has been up for one before.

What was Ted Danson thinking?

Don't think he put any thought into it.

Meh, he was better as Pat Riley

for fucks sake, this AB speech is almost as slow and boring as the movie he just won it for

Nice, give Sean all the awards please. Dude is young, he's gonna make a ton more great movies.

Wow, 3 wins in one night.  Strippers and tits pay off.  Good for him.

interesting that he waited till the 3rd win before giving us the go to the movies speech
